Anyone watch the new Netflix original series "Orange is the New Black"?

 

I started watching it today but didn't get to finish the episode. I didn't really watch enough to get a good sense of how I'll like it. How is it?

 

I busted out the whole season in 3 days... 2 of which I worked doubles... I think it was an amazing series! Jenji Lohan knocked it out of the park again. Now I gotta wait forever til season 2

 

Everyone is talking about this show. I will have to check it out.

I avoided it precisely because it said "Netflix original series"... Didn't know how well that would turn out

i watched two episodes last night, thought it was pretty good.

there are a lot of boobs in the first episode if that makes any of you wanna watch a little more

 

This will be Netflix 3rd series. I haven't watched House of Cards... Not really into political dramas... Arrested Development was hilarious.

 

arrested development was pretty decent, but i wouldn't call it 'hilarious' as so many people seem to think. i guess we all have different senses of humor.

but yeah, house of cards didn't sound good enough to watch an episode of..

 

It took me awhile to get into the new season of arrested development... Mainly because of how they laid it all out at first. But as the episodes progressed it got funnier and the style of the episodes worked out better deeper into the season you get

 

i was the same. by the first tobias episode (i think episode 6?) i was into it. i think that was the best episode in the season.

 

I'm on the fourth episode of this show now and I'm very into it.

How do netflix series earn money? are they funded by netflix subscriptions?
