    Some people do it with a good heart and are not recognized by their spouse. It can and does happen. It takes two people to work for the marriage. If only one is working for the marriage, that spouse will eventually capitulate and either say I give up and will accept the lousy situation, or will exfiltrate him/herself from the marriage.

    Also, both can be working in their own ways, and I do not not deny this is the case at times.

    Real life can be quite messy sometimes.

    My original thought was that the wording was like someone in authority assigned someone a task, and it was not performed satisfactorily. To me, it did not sound like a conversation of equals. Maybe I mis-interpreted what was posted.

    Although i do notice many people are really sloppy at work and wonder if it spills into their private world?
