^Picton Castle http://pictoncastle.co.uk/ I did mention here before that I had roots over there (across the pond), but nobody believed me. Well now you know. I'll bet you want to come visit my Castle now, huh? Me too, lol. I just got back from my Grandmas 90th birthday party and came away with a folder stuffed with info about her (our) family tree. She was a Philipps until she married my Grandpa and took his name. This was all done with DNA matching records, BTW. More about Picton Castle: http://www.castlewales.com/picton.html ^Picton Castle Trust?? They probably won't even let me in there unless I pay to get in, lol, but it's still my home (as far as I'm concerned).
Just look at all that back yard space as well. You could easily have hundreds of people back there. We should get at least four kegs, and maybe even an outdoor dance floor. Inside I can easily install a stripper pole next to the bar. This is going to be awesome
I know! I just found out about it yesterday. I'm not sure what that 'Trust' is all about. I think it means that the last owner(s) gave it to the people instead of finding me and asking me if I wanted it. Yes, indeed. I would have liked to have taken it over. I would probably have been Knighted before too long, I'm sure. :2thumbsup: I'm still thinking of calling over there to see if I have any claim to anything, lol.
A trust is a body of people who maintain/preserve/run the building for posterity. Off the top of my head, the National Trust (UK) maintains a shitload of things: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_National_Trust_properties_in_England By the way, I don't know whether the article you linked mentioned it but looking at Picton Castle's Wiki page, the trust is actually managed by a Philipps. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Picton_Castle
