outlived the politics of hate. i would have said that a bit more strongly, with a few choice explatives for those responsible for the years he spent in jail. (as in, "he's outlived you, de'clerk, explative!")
I Couldn't Agree More, What Started Out As A Simple Birthday Greeting To A 95 Year Old Man On His Death Bed, Has Turned Into This Pathetic Excuse For A Thread, For Gods Sake Keep Your Hatred To Yourselves For A Few Days, And Let The Man Draw His Last Few Breaths In Peace, Is That Too Much To Ask....?????? Cheers Glen.
he's a hero though. and i think he might even get a bit of a grin out of what i said, even if he is also a mellowness preacher. and makin it to 95, after the life he's lived, i mean, i've sat on my ass and taken it easy and their ain't no way i'm gonna make it that far. my mom made it to 91, but my dad didn't make much past where i am now. and i'm startin to have some of the health problems my dad did. although mine's just starting to show up, and his started when he was in his 40s.
Your posts are usually more difficult to read than Roamy's. I'd say you're in no position to make fun of someone's way of expressing themselves.
Why don't you explain where he went stupid in that post? I have the feeling he was sincerely trying to share facts. Thanks in advance, it would be much appreciated :2thumbsup:
I tried writing a few things. To write about the history of South Africa, white rule, Apartheid, The ANC, Nelson Mandela, The CIA turning in Nelson Mandela, would take way too long. Maybe read here about Nelson Mandela- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nelson_mandela For Rat to state "and it has to do with the bankers having increased control over the country at the expense of the people via divide and conquer. So why is Mandela credited as making things better for the people of South Africa, when in fact he made things worse?" is beyond stupid. I would not normally be so negative to another poster but what he said is SO wrong. "Nelson Mandela is a horrible, horrible man. He has NWO written all over him." And in deference to Pressed Rat I am not totally sure if he has really outdone himself this time-I have not read ALL of his posts-it's possible he has said some things MORE wrong than this-but it wouldn't be easy.
Yeah, it's true PR's sharing of facts is generally packaged in his opinions and I also often wonder if it couldn't make a bigger impact when brought objectively (as possible) or without linking it to the NWO or bankers (even though the banking system is responsible for a lot). On the other hand we at first instance do get a one sided view of Mandela even though we can read a lot already on encyclopedic pages like wikipedia. It doesn't hurt to give another side of perspective, but especially if it's explained why and how a poster thinks that. The best thing about wiki for serious info though is it's sources at the bottom (which I often have to be found seriously lacking... ).
From a South African- http://www.dailymaverick.co.za/opinionista/2013-04-03-madiba-i-let-you-go/#.UeqcltK1F8F "If there is anything Madiba taught us, it was gentleness and humanity, not to mention the stupendous power of forgiveness. In my own life, this struggle for forgiveness has been massive, for reasons unrelated to the political climate. But every time the anger comes, I look towards Madiba and remember what the human soul can overcome. He has had a profound influence on my life, and I am sure I am not the only one. Part of what makes him such a remarkable human being is that you would be hard-pressed to find a person who had not been influenced by him in some way. He is the person who looked through the vicious shells of Apartheid leaders, prison warders; the insensitive crusts of self-righteous whites who did not want to change. He looked through them all, saw the human beings inside, and reached out to them. He gave us all the mercy we so desperately want, and he led others to it, too." "My prayers are not for Madiba’s speedy recovery. My prayers and good wishes are that he will not have a long, drawn-out death; that he will be peaceful; that he will be surrounded by loved ones and look back with satisfaction on the life he lived"

My posts are difficult to read? Could you sometime point that out to me when there is a post that's hard for you to read because I really don't think that's true. Don't bother replying here but if you ever read a post and think "this makes no sense", mention it there or pm me because I really am curious as to when my posts are ever difficult to read. I have a feeling you may be thinking of something many years ago as my "way of expressing myself" is very comprehensive...
