You are right. I can see it is unprofessional. But she seems to be taking a multi-pronged offence to this. Unprofessional, perhaps. Nothing more. He has apologised. I'd have drawn a line underneath it at that.

And I can see where you are coming from, but running is bad for the body no matter what kind of shape you are in. Long distance running that is.

i was 38 and over 200lbs and all the guys on my shift were all racing each other. everyone else on the shift was between 20-25 except dale who was 45 and none of them where fat.
i beat them all in every race until the skinny 18 year old black kid came out of the lab, he only beat me by a couple inches.

its fun to stereotype but fat dosent equal unable to run.

 

Something about PR threads. They seem to have a way of conjuring up elements of sexism, racism, 'classism', 'ethnicism', etc, in people and the thread goes on page after page after page.

It's the type of element that the mainstream media uses so well to its advantage.

I don't say any of this to be insulting to anyone.
