Hello Hipforums! It's been a while since I've logged in here but I woke up this morning and felt the need to write this trip report from last November. Warning: this is going to be a long one, so if you want to get down to the meat, just scroll through the first few paragraphs...

I had just gotten home from school for Thanksgiving break and had procured a 10 strip of some quality blotter from a trusted friend before heading home. The sheet had red/pink fractal heart patterns on it with a wide array of pinks and reds. Pretty groovy. Anywho, I had talked to a few friends prior to this and we all wanted to trip, so we planned on a "Tripsgiving" event.

So the night came and it was gearing up to be a great one. The moon was out and the sky was bright. The stars were out in full, whimsical force. The 5 of us met up at our usual tripping spot in the back yard of my parents house. This spot is worth a little explanation because I consider it "sacred grounds" because of the amount of trips people have had back there. It retains a sort of mystical air to me all the time because of this. The spot is right on the fringe of a thickly wooded area and at the absolute farthest end of my acre and a half property. It's the perfect distance away that we can chill and have a good, slightly boisterous time without having to worry about neighbors or parental intervention. There is a nice, nature-y patio a few feet from the fire pit where we set up out "dj booth" and tons of plants, artsy pottery, cutesie little figurines of frogs and angels and elves that my mom has scatter throughout the property. The scene is in the shadow of a very tall and incredible weeping willow tree that always provides some incredible visuals and in general is just really beautiful.

Our group of 5 trippers is our usual group of trusted psychonauts and we've been on about 7 trips together at this point. All of us know we can handle large doses of psychedelics so we don't have to worry about anyone freaking out, and we all feed off each others energy very well. I had brought a 10 strip and my buddy had 5 left over from his strip of some potent WoW. Three of us (me, S, and my brother G) had 3 hits each of my stuff and the other two guys (M and N) took M's 5 and bought my last hit off me, so we each took 3 hits total.

We all tabbed up and started building a fire out of the pile of wood my brother and I had gathered earlier that day in preparation for a pretty cold outside trip. Pennsylvania in November gets pretty cold, so we had the fire rolling pretty good.

I get first alerts about 15 minutes after dosing. I usually can tell it's coming on when I get a weird feeling in my solar plexus that I describe as "potential energy" that is about to burst. My motor skills slow down slightly (but not like shrooms) and my thought processes started to become just a little more complex. We have a tradition of going on a walk through this little neighborhood near my house on the come up, where we walk down a dark farm road and up a hill to an always brightly lit house with a massive flag pole and American flag waving in wind that we call "Amurrica Hill." So we walk to the hill and it's incredibly bright, divinely illuminated almost, and I look away and up towards the sky and BOOM, faced, definitely starting to hit me now, wh...oooo..aaa..hhh d..uuu..dd.e..es..ss, I'm beginning to feel like I'm plugged into God's electrical outlet.

We continue on, debating quietly in a slight confusion and stupor exactly which way we should go because there are two roads (that lead to same place) and we couldn't make up our minds (as is customary on psy's), but eventually I walked ahead and they followed. The ground became spongy, like the blacktop I was walking on was a tempurpedic mattress and everyone else reported similar feelings. Houses began to warp and my vision became high definition in the bright light of moonlit night. The clouds began to take the shape of various animals with quite intricate features, and a tree off in the distance (a particularly tall tree compared to rest) took on the unmistakable qualities of a tyrannosaurus rex. My mind was going 100 miles per hour and I couldn't talk--aka I couldn't coherently speak because I couldn't properly form sentences in my head. Nobody was really saying anything though, we meandered back towards my house, everyone mouth slack-jawed and wide eyed, giggling at mailboxes and street light shadows that had come to life around us. Everything was moving, waving, alive.

We get back to my street and walk up slight hill towards my house, but as I was looking up my street, the end where my house is suddenly shot backwards into the distance about 100 feet and I'm like "this hill just became a mountain, aghraghrahghh!!"

But we labored up it and back into our psychedelic realm with fire still ablaze now. But as we were walking through my yard which is a big open grassy field with moonlight pouring down from sky, my vision was suddenly covered in black vines hanging from thin air. It's like I walked into a jungle all of the sudden... so I'm waving my hands in front of my face trying to get these black vines out of the way and I look over and S is doing the same thing! We took the same tabs so I thought we were having a shared hallucination and when I asked him about it when we got to the fire he said he too was suddenly covered in vines as we walked back.

About an hour in now and we're in a pretty funny state of mind. If anyone had been watching us they would have thought us both halairious and insane. We were running around like kids in a playground jabbering about cosmic unity and trees with faces and strange hieroglyphs in the stones around the fire pit. S, N and my brother busted open some glow sticks and were tossing the glow juice all over the ground creating universes then laying down in them (makeshift grassy universes) with looks of total bliss and ecstasy sprawled on their faces...giggling...high...yelping at the moon like hyenas every so often. M and I tend to get along because we are both of the spiritual mindset when it comes to tripping. The spiritual grandoisity and enlightenment qualities of these substances is why I love them so, but I enjoy the mindfuck and absurdity just as much as the next Head. So we're by the fire in lotus position in dream state near the fringe of NirVana and I look over at the forest with it's tree and woody vines and fallen leaves and all of it changes. Tree trunks and all suddenly took on the color of mercury or quicksilver. A shiny metallic color that was constantly alternating rainbow color and shimmering, constantly changing and swirling. It was amazing. M and I talked about psyches and how we can bring the psychedelic experience to people through our art (I write and he's a musician) because people Should know about the true and full potential of our minds.

I got up and started dancing. N and S were tossing some funky ass dubstep and electro-house on the speakers and suddenly I felt like I was made of quicksilver/mercury and my joints were so lubricated that I was doing moves I didn't think I could physically do. I just had this energy and I let it take me over and I was dancing insync with the cosmic rhythm of the universe.

Lady Lucy is a beautiful soul.

As usual, my survival mechanisms in my brain were broken down and I was experience SO MUCH at one time that it started to become overwhelming. I was hearing the intensity of the music, the cars and trucks passing by on the main road about a half mile away, the cows mooing in the distance, the animals scurrying across the brittle leaves in the forest behind, the crackle of the fire, while seeing so much...I was experience sensory overload to the max, so M and I took a walk over to his house conveniently located across the street from my house. It was amazing the difference that silence can make in a hightened mindstate. We went into his back yard and the tree's were morphing, the grass was rippling like water, the stars were darting back and forth...and suddenly the air all around us started to look like it was covered in multicolored bands of energy, web-like, flowing, pure... And it made me think of string theory, which i don't know too much about but enough to know what it is, and M said he saw this too. We sat in silence in a soup of visuals and I meditated and felt incredibly centered. Like right when I closed my eyes in meditation I was right in the place it takes me an hour of meditation to get to.

I felt like a bolt of lightening.

We walked back over to my house, passing a tree that took on the form of Albert Einstein's head, and I said "hey, look at Einstein over there" and my friend just nodded. Later I found out he had no idea what i was talking about.

As we walked into my back yard and saw the fire going and heard the faint sound of music and laughter and glow sticks flying in the air I thought I'd wandered into a music festival. Shit was crazy!

So by now we had passed the peak and we smoked some green and went inside to warm up. I threw on some grateful dead and we lounged around and talked about our trips. N had seen the eye of Mordor from Lord of the Rings in the fire and thought it was the coolest thing in the world.

Overall it was a good trip. No real epiphanies outside the usual stuff. It was a really fun time that awakened my inner curiousity in science once again. It was one of the more visual trips I've had out of my 12 or so experiences with lucy. Nothing will beat my first time when I watched a house come alive as a cartoon with bulging eyes that would blink when the shudders went up and down, and the garage door was a big set of smiling cartoon teeth that was opening and closing like a mouth...crazy shit.

My last few L trips have been kinda the same, I feel like I need to get back to mushrooms for a while. During my L trips I feel like the spirit of the mushroom is asking me to return, it's kind of weird but after this trip I think that is my next course of action.

Thanks for reading and hanging in there everyone! I hope you enjoyed! :2thumbsup:

Cool report dude :sunny: sound like you've got an awesome place there - word :D

And try the mushroom thing, but I think the best cure for samey trips is a good break. It's kinda like over chewing the same food if you trip frequently. That's what I found anyway, I was stuck on first course. It was a tasty course, but let's see what else is on the Special's Board. That's just a theory so far, makes sense, but I haven't got enough years under my belt to say that for definite, but whilst you're waiting for the chef to cook your main course("main" is just for the sake of the analogy :p), you're busy digesting your starter and getting much more than just the initial taste. And that I can vouch for 100 times over.

Good read! It does sound like a powerfully Hallucinogenic trip.

That part of vines appearing and seemingly changing your enviornment was interesting. The morphing clouds and trees all sounded picturesque as well. You touched upon some interesting topics for claiming to not have any real epiphanies, maybe it just sort of reinfornced some of the ideas that have arose on previous trips?

I find that an interesting dichotomy of experiencing the animalistic 'hyena' like behaviors contrasted with the behaviors invoking enlightenment and focus in lotus .

Mushrooms always have a more earthy vibe for me. LSD is great but it does not have the history mushrooms have with humans. Some would say eating the mushroom helped us evolve into who we are now.

My biggest trip yet was on mushrooms. Everyone's faces looked like cats, whiskers and all. I also became convinced I was tapped into a higher spiritual vibration one might call god. It was a complete contentment and peace that can only be experienced I think.
