So amazing. Oh my god. I've been eating an enormous amount of candy lately. Mostly Starburst and Skittles. Does anyone have a favorite candy?
the sour skittles start to hurt my mouth and I just don't like the way they feel on my teeth, too gritty.. I like the dark side skittles, have you tried those? the wild berry are tasty too
I had this once, at a ballpark. If I ever see them again somewhere....I'ma buy two hundred milliony thousands of them!
not really funny and it's not because I'm a (type 1) diabetic it's not funny cuz those types of "jokes" are so played out you don't get diabetes from eating too much sugar
It wasn't really ment as a joke. Chronically giving in to being a sugar tooth is one of the reasons the pancreas gets fucked up. I agree you don't get diabetes by taking like an overdose of sugar at once though The main cause seems to be chronic lack of exercise and eating too much sweet rubbish, of course mostly in combination. Not saying this is the reason all diabetics got diabetes or you got it because of that. Some pro athletes with a healthy diet and lots of exercise can get it too. Just saying one of the most common causes is giving in to having a sweet tooth and when I see people do that or mentioning doing that I can't help but sometimes mention this. I appologies again for this urge and will restrain myself from doing it too often
Me too, most chocolate products are unhealthy too (especially in large quantity ) which is good so I know I should moderate and be selective in it. Happily I have no problem with that myself. As a kid though...
and sometimes kids that are 1, 5, 8 years old or even younger develop (type 1) diabetes for no apparent reason at all.. but the media focuses on type 2 diabetes so it seems to be all that people know about meh, do whatever you want
Butter with applesauce. No, I don't really have a fav. If I get the same candy I like two times in a row I often already feel I get enough of it. I guess I just got tired of most candy in general. Especially chocolate. I can really enjoy it though but mostly because I rarely get it myself
