there was a little girl out here last year that got the plague from being too close to a dead prairie dog. it comes in waves out here, but usually spread by prairie dogs.

spent the day on a roof replacing a solar panel for a pool... regardless of how many times we fix it it leaks the next day, its just weird... something must be wrong with the pipes, they've had this issue since they got it (years ago)... but the owners cheap and didn't want us to replace it with new working pipes.. so we decide to try something new... long story short it didn't work and we ran out of time and as a last resort decided to super glue all the pipes together with no seals or anything.. the guy didn't want us using any new supplies and all his seals were stretched and destroyed...

So we get off the roof and turn it on... It worked perfectly...

for a few seconds until the heat and pressure started to build up, all the pipes burst open and there's even more damage than before :D

I don't get people... You spend thousands and thousands of dollars on a pool... Then cheap out on maintaining it? Then your pool goes to shit and you have to spend a few more thousand just to get it up and running again lol

whoever installed the system used way to small of pipes... so there's just to much pressure in them, regardless of what you do they keep leaking over time...

I think the guys finally going to cave and pay to re-do it, so.... monday is going to suck bawls

    this weekend better be good

reduce the pressure in the line with a regulator..

yes..either regulate or switch to smaller pipes

the smaller pipe can take pressure better than bigger pipe

Most of those roof water heaters are not pressure regulated... the leak problem is common.

switching the different sized pipes is most likely whats going to happen, only reason it wasn't done sooner is cause the guy didn't wanna pay for it

a regulator sounds a lot more simple than taking out and replacing all the pipes though... not sure if that will have any negative effect on the pool or entire system in general though, i'll bring that up and see what they say at work.. i'm not an expert lol

it is pretty common, we went to 4 different places to day to fix these leaks on the roofs... most of them are quick easy fixes, but this last guy has 6-7 big leaks and they've fixed them 4-5 times already but they just keep coming back.. this is before i started working here though so i dont know to much.. so i have no clue why
