What did I take?

First psychedelic experience, was very different from what I expected based on previous reading, and this made me think that maybe I took something unusual.

Asked for acid, got a small Redbull bottle in which the substance was inserted.

Drank the stuff, and 30-60 minutes later started feeling the effects.

My muscles got tense, and soon I was feeling extreme, raw sexual pleasure, which lasted for a few hours. It wasn't very exotic or mind-opening. I still felt like myself, "sane" and "rational", just overwhelmed by a physical sensation which wasn't novel in its quality - only in its quantity. I could barely even stand or talk during this phase, like a person paralyzed by pain, only it was pleasure.

Some colors in my surrounding (a yellow book, some pink in a picture on the wall) turned "bright" in a way, but nothing other than that, visually.

After about 6 hours the intensity of the physical sensation diminished, although I would, sporadically, continue to experience light spasms of the muscles (like in an orgasm) for about 6 hours longer. In this later phase I was relaxed, confident, at peace. Sights and sounds were a bit more "magical" than usual. That's about it.

So the main part of the experience, like I mentioned, was really very animalistic, which was disappointing because I was looking for a spiritual experience and not entertainment. So I want to understand what is it that I took so I'll be a smarter customer next time.

I suspect it was 2c-b, which is described as very erotic. However, from what I gathered, 2c-b comes in the form of powder or pill. What I took was liquid, or maybe the the guy poured the powder in the Redbull and let it dissolve?

Also, I didn't have any visual experiences other than some colors looking a bit "bright", while I've read that 2c-b is associated with visual effects.

So what do you think?

I was going to say it sounds like 2c-b before i read you suspected the same. visual effects from psychedelics are not a guarranteed thing. It has a lot to do with your personal body and dose plays a huge component. The effects you describe sound like about 20mg of 2c-b, which indeed presents with almost no visuals, and is mostly a powerful physical sensation of pleasure for 6 hours. quite flooring really. I find visuals don't arrive until about twice that dose. Visuals are the last effect to arrive from psychedelics, they require the most dosage.

2c-b is one of the best psychedelics in human history i know you wanted a deeper experience but you need to communicate that with your dealer and not take psychedelics mixed with red bull lol. just tell him you're pretty sure he gave you 2c-b and you'd like a 50mg dose. or even better ask him what other psychedelics he has, because 2c-b is never really profoundly spiritual IMO.

 

Could be a number of chems, your descriptions sound more like 2ci with the body spams, lack of visuals and duration.

This part makes it seem like it could've been an apb (5, 6 apb) and you got 'puddled', although I've had friends who had to sit down on 2ci as well. If you had somewhat of a quick rushing onset it could be more along the lines of apb, if it was more of a gentle comeup than probably one of the 2c(x) chems.

Yeah, the effects came pretty gradually, so I guess 2c.

I would have liked to get something different for the next trip, but the thing is, the other night I was in a reliable, safe and cheap place, and I knew I won't be back for a long time, so I jumped on the opportunity and bought 4 of the Redbull bottles. Since then I left the area, and where I am now I don't have any access to a reliable dealer. So I guess I'm just going to have to work with the 2c-(?); 1 bottle down, 3 to go.

And since it is a very "physical", sensual drug - while I'm interested in the psychological and philosophical aspects of the psychedelic experience (loss of ego, unique perception of causality, insights into the workings of the brain, etc.) - is there anyway I can manipulate the setting to make the next trip more spiritual? Maybe a higher dosage (say, 2 bottles at once)?

 

A higher dose will likely make some other affects apparent such as stronger visuals and perhaps may elicit a more spiritual trip. Given the medium for which you have aquired, it's really difficult to say how much more you should take. Taking it in a setting such as out in nature also may be more conducive to a spiritual trip. The 2cx chems aside from perhaps a few exceptions, are generally not as renowned for eliciting spiritual trips like some other psychedelics.

 

your dealer drops powder into the red bull?
very sketchy. it could be anything. and for all you know the rest of the cans could be bunk.
why didnt you ask the dealer for powder after the first experience? this way you could have tested it with marquis and other reagents (these can be bought very cheap)
Ingesting unknown substances is a big NO. you will soon recognize this when you drink 2 cans and realize that you could be od ing for all you know.

the first freak out is always the strongest.

also.. how can you be sure that it was a psychedelic if you have never taken psychedelics before?
what if the color brightening effect was simply from pupil dilation?
many substances dilate the pupils.
I think what you took was probably something like metylone.

for the next experience i recommend you take san pedro cactus or fungi.

browse around the web for psychedelic plants. many of them (like the cactus) can be ordered online.

 

I agree, this dealer is hiding something. Most likely buying a RC cheap and making a killing selling it. If you knew what it was you would not want it otherwise he should be fine giving you powder.

Took 1 and 1/4 of a bottle this time.

Still pretty sure this stuff is a 2c-(x).

You misread me about the dealer and the powder. Not that it matters - because no names are mentioned anyway - but it was actually a really good dealer and a really friendly place for beginners.

Anyway, it was very interesting, and I think I learned a lot.

Next time I'm going to consume the remaining 1 and 3/4 bottles.

body load is really bad. (I took like 15 mg). how can you guys take more? ugh..

visual distortions forming in the background. not hard and heavy but very apparent.
color shifts. a bit like a candyflip.
everything feels like plastic. cheap and gimmicky.
not my favorite drug.
sense of touch is maazing. i got no sense of pain... etc..

I think what you took was more like a mdma clone rc.
somethign that just releases serotonin flow. (giving you pleasure)
those can be very life changing too. actually mdma changed my life just as much as lsd changed my life.

I don't think you should base your decisions on any of the responses here that suggest it's one chemical or another. It's just stupid to take any drug without knowing exactly what it is.

That being said, 2c-b is fuckin awesome. Having only tried it once, at 45mg, I wish I could get my hands on some more of it.

for me this 15-16 today felt too much. the bodyload was crap. visuals are shit. the body trip is cool but altogether i think lsd is a lot better chemical.

Also, are you 100% certain it was 2c-b? 15-16mg of 2c-b is a pretty low dose, even by newb standards.

These other chemicals are boring. To me the 2c family feels unfinished. Its hitting the receptors but something is off. same with the 2c-e. ( amazing but the bodyload was kinda shit).

Dude...........if you are 100% certain that it's 2cb, then I suggest you at least try a 40-50mg dose. It's not gonna kill you and you'll most likely be tripping too hard to even notice the body load.

Also, if/when you take a higher dose, lie down in bed, in the dark, with some good music, and close your eyes. I am almost positive that you'll change your mind. That is, if it is, in fact, 2cb.

 

ketamine taken in many small bumps is essentially very similar to alcohol, it would indeed make you feel "stupid". if you want to see its real potential, clear your system of it for 24 hours, then snort ~250mg and lie down listening to your favorite music in the dark. k hole.

 

I loved Ketamine in a wicked fiendy way. It's certainly not for everyone, I've had friends say they don't like to k hole for similar reasons as you, feels too uncontrollable and they don't enjoy the disassociated feeling out of their body . Other friends/aquaintances I've met fiend for it and particularly heavy k holes, it's a polarizing and dark drug.
