God, it's been forever. Barely remember my days living off of the land. But my memories are recalled every day the love, the spiritual journey, the brothers and sisters, the freedom, the non judgmental minus the drainbows, society that my heart longs to venture to again. Thinking of my family from gathering 1999 Allegheny National. Long Long time to be gone and (hopefully) a short time to to be there. Hope 2013 was fabulous for all. May peace fill the hearts of the human race. Struggling in Babylon, could use a few virtual hugs, positive words and love across the wires. Having a hard time being accepted and living that happy spirit free life of love, happiness, laughter & peace. Be well my friends. Until we meet again.
Hey now - lovin' you! I'm sending you a hug from a very Babylonian Seattle! I think I understand how you're feeling. I have such magical memories of past Gatherings but haven't been able to go for awhile. Maybe we'll both get to go home next summer? It's tough out here - I keep thinking that there must community near by which can feel like home - I hope we both find that. HUGS!!!!!
oh, hey, musiklover - I don't think this forum/board is all that active. you might want to connect on facebook. there's a 2013 Montana gathering page and some others. much more active.
Hey now Musik. Come see your love reflected in the eyes of your family on the land. Or on the street. Spirit surfaces in the least likely places sometimes. Do recommend a Homeward Bound in your future though. As Adrienne Rich so eloquently said: "There must be those among whom we can weep, and still be counted as warriors."
Welcome brothers & sisters... :daisy: Reason I believe this forum seems dead is we don't post stuff that feeds trolls so to speak ... Please could some give us here a briefing on your Montana gathering ... Lot of folks don't go to all other sites.. nor even Fbook. :grouphug:
my gathering time was pretty calm and mostly musical . the best evening was playing with ... cripey , i can never remember what they call those things ... bell-tone steel pot drums ? the musicians got teary for the beauty of a night flower blooming . also , i camped next to Calm . they adopted my pup Rainbow Peace Doggy as dish washing assistant which was for her to have climbed the highest mountain . and i got to meet Luvione who writes here in the forums . she is so very charming .
