How do they determine if someone is "suspected" to be HIV positive? I can see they're trying to be proactive, but that's pretty ridiculous.

The article stated that the spread of HIV was, they thought, partially due to the homeless people living in the streets there.

Then they want to throw more HIV positive people into the street.

    That's bad.

It's funny what qualities as top news here on the hipforums when there's many more noteworthy stories out there.

Please enlighten us with your knowledge! Perhaps what is noteworthy depends on the person?

If you're really that ignorant as to what's happening in the world today, there's no need for me to waste my energy explaining things to you.

You seem clueless yourself. The 'top news stories' on hipforums are simply on top when someone replies in a thread. That this topic happens to be on top doesn't say anything about the awareness of users about what's happening in the world nor does it imply this is the most noteworthy news in general to anyone. It is curious news though but I guess you can find it just funny because it doesnt fit in your scope of top news :p

Politicians in Greece are becoming as draconian as Putin in Russia and his phobia of gays.

To be even more draconian, Greece should enlist the services of George Zimmerman and Associates to sniff out suspicious people. "He has some blemishes on his face. It must be HIV/AIDS. These assholes always get away with it!"
