So swim bought 2 hits of acid from a guy who was tripping his balls off. So swim takes the blotters, puts them in a bag and puts it in his pillow to save for the next day. The next day swim pops one tab in his mouth, lets it sit for a couple seconds and swallows because it tasted bad. Immediately swim felt euphoria after 1 hour swim pops in another tab and swallows it. After 4 hours swim is not trippin just a little high. So swim asks guy if he was ripped off. Guy says swim were supposed to keep it in his mouth until it turns into mush. So swim thinks its his fault. This was swims first time using lsd. So should swim buy more blotters and give it another shot?
Sounds like the 25I-NBOMe I keep hearing about (people die from supposedly as few as three hits on blotter). Please let him know that selling NBOME as "acid" could kill someone. And please shop with someone who won't poison you. Finally, no one here swims ;-)

Just want to point out that NBOME isn't necessarily dangerous. I have plenty of friends that have tripped on it while being careful and in a safe place. It's not LSD by any means but I feel like it is demonized a bit on the forums here. If you want to do NBOME, you have to hold it on your tongue because it breaks down in stomach acid and becomes inert, unlike LSD. If you can't find any real acid, it'll do you for a fun (and potentially meaningful) experience. Just be careful and take it slow. Psychedelics take a long time to kick in, especially your first time.
Good point about there being a bit of demonization of NBOME, however several overdoses within a few years is quite a bit especially relative to LSD. Holding it on your tongue is not a very effective method for absorption, holding it under your tongue or against the roof of your mouth allow the chemical to be absorbed directly into the adjacent membranes. NBOME, Complexed NBOME in particular from what I gather, can have a really quick onset.
