om mani padme hum

    aum mani pema hum (tibetan)


    (om.... ma-knee..... pod-may..... whom)


    it is said that this is the most ancient of all mantra's........it is very helpful to repeat it for any length of time in order to still the mind. very helpful for compulsive thinking. one way to manage the mind.

    The one I was taught was ohm na mo , guru dev na mo . Ohm = the universal word , na mo = name , guru = teacher , dev = God . Not an exact translation , but close . Its used in Kundlini yoga . desert rat

    In the wargames movie. two men are entering the missile silo. one man says to the other he had some Sensimilla, and the old women would chat over the plants.. "aum mani pema hum".. someone correct me if Im wrong, its driving me nuts.. ;)
