Lights on cars DURING THE DAY!!

OP must have the most sensitive eyes ever.

my lights automatically come on whenever i'm in gear. if my next vehicle does not have that feature, i have a feeling i'll never remember to turn them on.

 

I live in the midwest and my car is white and extremely dirty, therefore, it's the color of dirty snow and I blend in. People for real don't see me unless my lights are on. I only do the day light thing during winter.

 

Well I dont drive but @ night its different...... You cant see the cars AT ALL unless they have something showing them!!

DURING THE DAY YOU CAN SEE THEM PLAIN AS DAY W/O LIGHTS!!!! (The lights are just blinding (Since everything else is bright already))

 

I Think The Current Crop Of Cars With LED Running Lights

Are Just Brilliant *pun intended* .

They Are Not In The Least Bit Annoying, But They Do What They Are

Designed To Do, And That Is To Draw Your Attention To The

Oncoming Vehicle...

A couple years ago Ohio made a law that if you are using your windshield wipers (in other words it is raining or snowing) you have to have the headlights on. I have to say that with some of the storms we have here that is not a bad idea. Unfortunately most of the drivers never got the memo and still don't use lights.

Since I have a grey car, the color of the road, in certain situations I will use the headlights. Usually a two lane road that is hilly and has a lot of curves. A lot of people try to pass when it is not safe and I like to let them know I am on the road too. The driving lights are on most of the time but I can turn them off if I want to.

 

Unless someone has on their high beams during the day then I don't really care. What pisses me off is when people pull into the parking lot at 4 in the morning with the lights blaring into my bedroom window, and even after they park they leave the light on for long as fuck. There's lights around the complex so they can see without disturbing everyone in the building in the middle of the night.

 

Some colours cars are painted tend to blend in too well with the road colour & that's why some prefer (or should) turn their lights on during the day - even when the sun is out. Some its just a safety thing they do for other road users.

 

Have you ever noticed how, on a bright sunny day, things can completely disappear from view when they go into the shadows? It's because your eyes are adjusted for high light, not low light. If they have their lights on, they don't disappear from view.

 

I think people who have their lights on in day light are thick.

 

If the forecast is cloudy, I think it would be wise to have the headlights on during the day.

 

I've seen them in bright sun light with the lights on. Idiots.

 

A lot of cars are made like that now...like Volvos...
My car...Vauxhall..the lights come on if the light goes dim...

 

it's only done so the government drones and spy copters can target you better in the daytime.
The LED lights emit a special wavelength that can only be detected by special sensors in the drone planes and missiles.
