So far I've been to one IC on a visit, and checked out a few others via internet/e-mail and telephone, and right now there ain't a one of them that I'd waste my time with. Well, there is ONE, but I think they closed down, I dunno. Lost contact and can't find them. IIRC they were one of the Twelve Tribes and was over by Manitou Spgs., Colorado I think. Really nice folks it seemed.

The rest, they seem to have this "better than thou art" arrogance. But then I don't know what to expect either.

The one I visited was claiming to be in the start up phase, and I don't recall their name. You invest by buying an acre or so, and then when you become part of the IC you share your income. Hmmm. Something didn't seem right about it. That's ok, no hard no foul at that point. Just not my cup of tea. At that time I was looking at buying a property about 8-10 miles from there.

So what's the latest on this ? I'm from Illinois and I'm interested. If this is still in the works let me know and we can go from there.

Yeah sorry about all this folks, don't know if any are still trying to keep tabs on the plan but my father recently sold the land when he got offered a big sum for it. Didn't mean to get anyone's hopes up
