I actually read an entire Terry Pratchett book when I was 17. That was some seriously good wanking time wasted.

What are some of the things you've wasted your precious life on?

teaching my unco-ordinated hands to do pathetic looking "tricks" with a zippo cigarette lighter, the least impressive skill someone can acquire, only to immediately forget how to do them.

    also, youtube.

also, the title of this thread made me think terry pratchett had died, freaked me out a little.

Reading Terry Pratchett wasted your time? fuck that man, he's a sick writer. The Discworld series is hilarious! The characters in those books are portrayed so well. Read "Thud" and you can't be disappointed.

I've got to confess I've never read a Discworld book. I've read some of Pratchett's other stuff (Only You Can Save Mankind, Truckers) but never any of the DW series. I'll add Thud to my to-read list.
