I wanted something different tonight, so I picked up some Crispin hard cider. This one is called 'The Saint', and is made with Belgian Trappist yeast and contains maple syrup. Probably one of the best ciders I've had. Very nice flavor.
Well, the waiter told us some very strange things that he's infused beers with. But you can infuse your beer with more hops, the tap looks like this : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jv3t3WR-KJ8"]World's Smartest Hop Infuser - Fusion Tower.mov - YouTube It is gimmicky, but it's also really cool. Made my beer taste awesome. It's pretty new too. Only a couple in Canada.
Yesterday, I had a bottle of Innis & Gunn's Canadian Cherrywood Finish. It was very smooth and tasty.
tonight it's gonna be New Belgium Rampant IPA, homebrew chili pepper stout, 2010 Ten Fidy, and probably some 09 Palo Santo Marron and a 2011/2012 side by side of Sierra Nevada Bigfoot.
I'm quite a few Longboard Island Lagers in. I would post a pic of said beer, but my phone is way over there ~~~>
Drinking one of my favorite beers... the world class Houblon Chouffe Dobbelen IPA Tripel. Check out the rating it gets on BA: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/321/27804
Now I am AGAIN drinking Pumking, and I still say this is my favorite beer of all time. It's like drinking liquid pumpkin pie. Mmmmm.... My love of beer soooo conflicts with my quest to get fucking jacked, but fuck it.
I am drinking my favorite cocktail of the moment which is: Gin, lemon thyme simple syrup (that I made from my garden) and lemon juice. So simple, but so delicious.
I made an entire herb garden dedicated to infusing liquor and making simple syrups... sad but true. This is my life....
Well, I think you are an insanely intelligent woman, and I pretty much always have thought that. Your life has a fuck of a lot more meaning that most people's, including my own.
Ah, Matt, that is so nice. You know I have always looked forward to your comments and I respect the hell out of you, so don't say that. I am sure your life has plenty of meaning. You just need to stop going after those shallow sluts that don't appreciate you...
PR is right! "sad but true"...pssssft! I think it sounds terribly interesting. I have a thyme bed, with some lemon thyme in there. You've given me an idea. Have you ever made any absinthe? I don't know which kind of artimesia to get; but even if I did I don't know if I'd be able to make something that wouldn't kill me. lol (but I have thought about making it anyway)
Jacques Au Lantern from evolution craft brewery. the best pumpkin beer i ever had....although when i had it i was at the brewery and it was just brought out. not sure how old these bottles are.
