This is a really subjective poll, all depends on peoples definitions of a hard drug. I can't believe alcohol isn't on that poll though.

Personally of the around ~100 psychoactive substances I've tried in my life, I'd say the ones I've witnesses cause the most harm are cocaine, amphetamine and alcohol, with alcohol probably being the worst by quite a lot.

If we're rating drugs from "hardest" to "softest" based on physical and psychological harm then I'd be interested to see the way you guys group drugs. So here's how I group the different types of drugs from least harmful to most (this is based on average use, so a mix of abusers and those who use safely):

    Least Harmful

    - Tryptamine Psychedelics (i.e. AMT, DMT, Psilocybin Mushrooms)
    - Weed/Hash/Cannabinoids

    - Mild stimulants (i.e. Caffeine, Theobromine, Nicotine when not smoked)
    - Phenethylamine Psychedelics (i.e. Mescaline, 2C-B, DOM)

    - Benzodiazepines
    - GHB

    - Smoked cigarettes
    - Weaker opiates/opioids with less potential for overdose (i.e. Codeine, Dihydrocodeine, Tramadol)
    - Sedative Dissociatives (i.e. Ketamine, 4-MeO-PCP)
    - Stimulant Dissociatives (i.e. Methoxetamine, PCP, 3-MeO-PCP, DXM)
    - GBL/1,4-BDO

    - Deliriants (i.e. Diphenhydramine, Datura)

    - Stronger opiates/opioids with more overdose potential (i.e. Morphine, Heroin, Hydromorphone, Fentanyl)

    - Strong stimulants (i.e. Amphetamine, Methamphetamine, Cocaine, MDPV)
    - Alcohol

    Most harmful

Where I've left spaces is where I feel there's a significant increase in harm, whereas where it's just a new line I feel there is an increase but not a huge one.

I'll explain a couple of things on that list that might raise questions:

    - Psychedelics are put there as least harmful because while in the wrong hands I think they can be notably harmful, I think in the vast majority of cases users are unaffected or affected in a positive way in the whole, in this sense they've done far more harm than good and can be placed at the top of the list for me as the least harmful.
    - I split Tryptamine and Phenethylamine psychedelics since phenethylamine psychedelics are also almost always stimulants and as such have greater effects on blood circulation, the heart and such and actually exert some toxicity in this form when abused.
    - I put smoked cigarettes as low as while the overall harm caused by these across the world is quite large, I think the average cigarette smoker isn't affected *that* negatively, and definitely not as negatively as the average user of the drugs I placed below it.
    - I put weak opioids below dissociatives since potential for addiction is similar and opioids are almost all very physically non-toxic except for their ability to cause overdose at high doses. Dissociatives then come with cognitive impairment when used regularly, and some like Ketamine with physical issues such as bladder/kidney damage.
    - I put stimulant dissociatives as more harmful because of their propensity to cause mania and delusions and irrational behaviour due to being less physically disabled under the influence than you are under the likes of an equivalent dose of Ketamine and such.

Probably missed a bunch, sorry about that but I'm lazy.
