thank you, i really appreciate it. the roads are thoroughly wet, so he will leave early and drive slow. theres one spot that had mud/rockslides across the road (why he couldnt get to work) and now the warnings just list it as "flooding. caution." he should be fine if he doesnt drive like a maniac. traffic is moving there, just slow.

what a sweet little house! i would have snapped up one like that when we were looking around here. i'll take my little 60's ranch. its a good first house. one day we will build. houses are great. a lot of work, but still a good feeling. like you can do things for yourself. paint, hang shit, add walls, pond, hottub, garden, orchard, chickens, whatever floats your boat (subject to local ordinances of course) its a much better standing point than an apartment.
