Still a fan, I love how they're not afraid to make fun of anything and everything (and throw in some actual social commentary if you dig through the crudeness).
I haven't seen episode 4 yet either but I've enjoyed it so far. Especially murder porn, with the parents playing minecraft and the cable company. God damn cable companies!
I was just talking about this the other day. I don't find south park as funny anymore and I don't know if its because I've grown up or because it has lost its touch. Its still relatively entertaining though. Family Guy is horrible. I used to enjoy it but it gets really old really fast. The humor and jokes don't really differ from episode to episode.
I haven't seen any of the episodes from this season because I'm too nice of a wife and won't watch them without my husband being able to watch them, too. Don't have cable, so can't watch it on Comedy Central, and his video card on his computer crapped out so we can't watch it on the big TV. My computer doesn't have a video card to be able to plug into the TV and we don't have any computer speakers. Oh well, one of these days. I honestly wasn't impressed with last 2 seasons at all. Previous to that, episodes had started to become hit or miss and there weren't very many hits. I still find the earlier episodes hilarious (though I'm like a lot in this thread and prefer the seasons past the 3rd).
I kept wondering why TV Portal hasn't added episode 4 yet, it hasn't aired yet. It will air this Wednesday.
Yeah. I was confused for a bit there too. Project Free announced that it was up but they just reposted the Scott Tenerman episode.
The last episode didn't air because they missed the deadline. Even though hhis is the first time this has happened, it's not surprising considering they don't start an episode till one week before the air date. A power outage kept them from completing the episode on time.
I watched the first episode when I was about ten, and I'm still hooked all these years later. As far as I'm concerned, it keeps getting better. There's only ever been like, two or three episodes I didn't particularly like. There's no other show I can say any of that about. Also, it's probably really childish of me, but my favorite episode is probably More Crap. Really, anything with Randy Marsh is comedy gold.
I like the overall theme that the general population are a bunch of impressionable morons and the only spark of intelligence comes from a 10 year old's brief monologue at the end. For some reason I can really relate to the feeling of being surrounded by idiots.
I didn't like it at first. I think it has improved a lot over the years. It's become the most clever, insightful, and socially relevant cartoon series of all time.
