i have dishes to do (story of my housework) and i need to get a handle on the living room. we had go-bags explode in there, everything has to be reorganized. have to set up a winter car kit. and i have to do something about the handle on the bathroom door, it sticks terribly. not so good when you really have to pee.

might bake something later. probably make a chunky soup for dinner. i have butternut squash, a sweet potato, and some carrots, so it will be an orangey soup :)

i also need to move some storage shelves into the garage for small kitchen appliances. always so much to get done.

was without internet at home for about a week...after numerous calls to comcast we seemed to have ended up in some sort of loop hole where it says i have no bill and no services but the internet works lol...the cable isnt working but we didnt use that anyway so were just going to deal with the little problems this internet is giving us since were not paying lol

hows everyone doing today? was gonna work on my car today to get it ready for inspection but for some reason a part didnt come in yet so ill be home getting high :)

I think that I may have finally fixed my laptop screen. I got really frustrated yesterday and took the whole thing apart and cleaned the dust out of the inside, and made sure the video cable connectors were in nice and tight. Seems to be working now, but we'll see how long it lasts. I've also realized that it would be pretty easy to replace the video cable (and it would only be ~$20 on ebay), so I'll just do that if it becomes a problem again. Seems to be a common problem with this model of laptop, and others online have fixed it by replacing the cable.

I really would like to get a new one, but can't justify the money while this one still works. I'd really like to get a macbook, just because they are so light and the battery lasts for a really long time, but I could never justify spending that kind of money on a computer.

im a stay at home mom, i dont get days off. accomplishing one thing a day would be great, if that was enough to make progress. its not at a "maintenance" level. we dont have appropriate furniture, we havent been through all our things yet, and we have A LOT to go through. we have been here a cluttery year. i wont lie, im comfortable with clutter, thats part of my problem. i like to see things, that way i know where they are

I'm working on my clutter issue.
We're not too bad, but I have a fabric hoard that occasionally explodes everywhere.

oh man, dont get me started on fabric/yarn/craft stash mayhem. really our main issue is horizontal surfaces. i have cleared one table, focusing only on it for a whole day, and ended up in tears because the clutter was obviously having babies every time i left the room.

oh boy, a mysterious bloodstain. always fun. skunk stink is gnarly up close. my mom's dog got hit full in the face and open mouth.

We used to be really bad with clutter, but we got rid of a lot of stuff before moving. I can't wait to have a house instead of an apartment though, so that I can store things in a basement instead of in closets... having a big fake christmas tree in a closet takes up a lot of room.

Yeah, those trees can be spacious.
We just get a foot tall rosemary tree for the table now.

Probably a good idea. I wouldn't have bothered to buy a big one, but my parents gave me their old one and I'm not one to turn down something free, haha.
