If you feel those continously after months from that shaking with thc : Depressive,Doesnt want to do things (lazy), Easily or suddenly getting angry, problems with sleep, Episodic memory, unusual daydreaming, confusion, problem with concentration. Read this very well and take it seriosly. If you dont have. not necessary pass this.

You are probably potential ADD and you damaged your dopamine mechanism and your body can no longer handle your potential ADD. You are probably sensitive to electromagnetism that is why you easily damaged it. Probably your hipotalamus isnt working correctly and it is not going to work soon without help. Dont take any drugs like amfetamine you are highly addictive to those in this condition and that way it can go to schizofrenia.
Take 200 mg modafinil... ywarm and if you fou can feel terible so take it where is safe and eel just the way you feel with THC and shaking you are definitly have this cause most of the people highly stimulated and becomes mentally boosted like superman... And dont listen anyone even your doctor tell him you want to take modafinil instead of other, dont take drugs like Ritalin, Concerta, Adderall Those are for central dopamin mechanism not outter so you feel better probably, become addicted but they are not going to help you and make you terrible in time.
Continue on modafinil only and be ready for discomfort and unusual for some days. You cannot work or goto school few days you will be too confused and like dazed and you are the only one like this with modafinil. take it until you totaly feel like very good under modafinil and keep the same dosage.
there can be painfull headache but you need to do this.
weeks or days After you feel very good and boosted like other people. Stop it and Take Solgar neuro nutrients at least twice a day with Pirasetam 1.6 mg in the morning and 1.6 mg afternoon. for a month.
You will be cured after this just like i did...
Dont stay under cool white lights and if you can dont over use computer if you must prefer LCD screens. Dont use cellphone without earphone. Stay away from all psychoactives as much as you can. Take the same diet ADHD patients in your future life. If you feel discomfort from any kind of light and electronic device like highfrequency cpu sound... change it.

That same shit happened to me. So I had to quit. It's not as hard as you think, trust me. Life goes on without weed. (I still retain what I learned from it)

i ve been in this situation. I quit just like you did. and after 4 years i start to medication... so it didnt go out easily for me... i was slowly getting worse without any weed or anything else. If you feel good now then its ok. But if you dont and especially you started episodic memories and unusual connections like time indipendant it can be get worst in time. If you feel it can be as i said just try to take 200mg modafinil as i said . It is not addictive and not dangerous. So you can be sure after if its effect far more different then other people. If you are ok pls dont bother.

i have recently experienced very similar effects. namely the 'time shifts' and the rapid heartbeat.
it's a very frightening experience and at the time seems as if i'm useless to prevent it from happening.
once my heart begins rapidly pounding i become very aware of it, then paranoid that the other, worse effects will take place (i fear the time shifts the most - do many people experience these?). and so, when i am thinking of them, they do.
none of my friends have ever experienced anything like it, yet i have multiple times.
"I began to think i had died and gone to hell" - i felt the exact same. a hell in which i'd spent eternity in with no escape. often i thought that the only way out WAS death itself.
The only reassurance that i'd be ok was the previous experiences, that i'd wake up fine in the morning.
Although 2 nights ago i shared a single joint with 2 other friends and i felt the effects beginning, and freaked out again (they said they got pretty high also). i walked a few km to my girlfriends house in which i stayed (she had previously experienced me in this way and i felt safer with her) and although the effects were not as intense as the first time, they were still very bad. while laying in bed with my eyes closed, yet still VERY awake, i began seeing very disturbing, frightening images and hearing voices.
once again, i woke up fine and normal the next morning.
last night, 2 nights later, i began casually thinking about the effects and how bad they were, then they vaguely began taking place! without any use of weed at all. my heart raced and i shook all over and the terrifying time shifts began slightly. i tried my hardest to get to sleep but it seemed impossible. the 2 hours i did 'sleep' i had horrifying, very vivid dreams.
    is this normal to occur??
my friends and i are concerned that it has damaged me psychologically in some way..
i probably smoke weed about once a week and have been for a few months. never again . .

I have that reaction but to only one strain of marijuana, which is Sour D. Every time I smoke this strain I have the shaking, heart racing and feeling like I'm going to die. Sometimes they cause me to be nauseous or have a headache where I feel very light sensitive like a migraine.

You simply described two effects from your LARGE DOSAGE.

    (1) Typical effects of large doses of marijuana, ie every few seconds fading out your mind. Much of what you described is classic effects of high dose Marijuana

    (2) You had a panic reaction because the effects were too strong. Some people tend to panic when they have too much Marijuana.

All the physical symptoms shaking etc, were anxiety which was caused it seems because the intensity of the effects "freaked you out", indeed your own thoughts were magnified and the intensity of everything and your thoughts "freaked you out" and you panicked.

I never eat Marijuana cause it has personally happened to me!

You can still probably have Marijuana but you must take it VERY easily and NOT EAT IT.

You were simply very stoned and had a panic reaction.

    Edit:

High doses of Marijuana INCREASE HEART RATE. This is well known, however this effect reduces a lot once you get tolerance. Indeed the anxiety inducing effects of Marijuana tend to reduce a lot once you get a tolerance.

Many of the effects posters above described explaining that freaked them out are classic effects of Marijuana- especially high doses.

Having a panic attack on Marijuana does not mean you can never have it again, but it depends. If you are really scared of your own anxiety (I am really scared because I was really scared), then it could be triggered again next time you have Marijuana.

The trick is to have a very small amount, even a single puff, and wait about 7-8 minutes BEFORE having more, and have it SLOWLY.

You will find actually that if you start doing in on a regular basis, that you are less prone to rapid heart beat and anxiety.

So SOME people can still smoke if they can get over quickly the fact that they panicked. But if the panic was a MASSIVE big deal to you, then it may be best you just stop. I personally have panicked various times, but once it is over, I am like "Well its over, oh well, I'm not going to worry about it."

And believe me, when I say I have panicked. I ate way too much Marijuana on one occasion and was hyperventilating and full blown panicking for over 3 hours continuous. I learned to not eat it anymore, but once the experience was over I am like, well its over I am fine, it was a bad panick attack. So in my case I can still have it, but there is still some risk of panic, if I have too much, because it is too intense.
