My skin is super sensitive. When the weather suddenly changes the tips of my fingers dry out and I get dead skin. The same thing happens when I take a shower. Also my skin breaks out sometimes no matter how many times I wash my face a day. My facial skin has also been drying out and sometimes pieces of dead skin peel off my forehead..its gross and annoying though its not that noticeable. I use a facial cleanser and a moisturizer for my face, and I use dermasil for my dry skin. Neither is doing much.
Do u guys have any ideas on how I can heal my damaged dry and breaking out skin? Thanks

Drink a lot of water. Use coconut oil as a moisturizer. Your moisturizer is probably loaded with chemicals. You can also eat a spoonful of coconut oil every day and the healthy fat from it will help your body retain moisture.

I used to suffer from a similar thing, I tried all sorts until I was recommended a beeswax preparation. It's a cream moisturizer available in some chemists and a lot of alternative health shops. After about 2 months of using the stuff my complaint subsided. There are many brands, just try a websearch for something available near you :)

He is emphasizing the eating coconut oil part. He made it big incase she just kind of skipped over it.

Thanks for the suggestions. I didn't skip over it I saw how it said eat coconut oil. Good thing I have some of that at home. Ill try it.
the moisturizer I have is aloe and lavender facial lotion, says its good for all skin types. I looked at the back and you're right, even though there are some natural ingredients such as aloe leaf juice, also there are many ingredients in there I don't know how to pronounce and idk what it actually is.
I make sure I don't overwash, normally I wash my face twice a day.
Ill also try to drink more water, I know I don't drink as much as I should.

I think you should have to change your products and choose the right cleanser for your face. Drink more water and you can also use petroleum jelly..

Sounds weird, and maybe wasteful, but honey as a face wash seems to work for people.
It's a humectant, meaning it pulls moisture from the air to your skin (or hair...it can lighten hair), so you must be somewhere with humidity...including the bathroom after a shower.
See a blog called crunchybetty.com for particulars. (And its a fun blog overall.)

Also, the oil cleansing method, OCM using castor oil and a carrier oil (jojoba, olive, almond, sesame, etc) can get clogged pores clear and help your skin equalize.

I do both, honey alternating mornings, oil each night. It took a month, but my skin evened out oil production and the flaky spots went away.

Now, I love coconut oil, but on me, it clogs pores. I use it an my hair, internally and as a massage oil on some clients. (Not spotty ones) it doesn't seem to play well with the castor oil for OCM, either.
But it is good armpits and down. Just not a great facial oil for me.
So, use it, but keep an eye out.

If your body skin change with the weather and it damage your senstive skin then you don't worry about this, Go to your doctor and take medicine and you can buy some special kind of skin care antiaging creams which will help you more and your skin will not damage.

Don't smoke or drink alcohol, they are terrible for your skin and collagen.
