NYC Mayor Bloomberg is constantly complaining about purchases at gun shows and over the internet where criminal background checks don't exist.

Recently a pair of gun runners were busted for bringing firearms from Georgia to New York. The newspaper photos showed powerful weapons.

 

There is a huge debate in NYC about the Police and the Stop and Frisk policy to take illegal firearms off the street.

Article is deep.. And these kids just keep having kids growing up to carry out the same reckless actions. They'll just fill up more privately owned prisons to make thier owners money. I doubt the National Guard is ready.

 

I hope you realize that I could say the exact thing to you. Everyone has a different view of what is ideal, and everyone believes that the person arguing against them is misguided.

I do still enjoy having the discussion, even if we go into it knowing that most likely nobody will change their opinion. I appreciate hearing the viewpoints of people who I may disagree with on some issues. You and Sig seem to be the only two regulars here who are able to actually make coherent pro-gun arguments without name calling and screaming vague things like 'LIBERTY' and 'FREEDOM'.

Chicago is a free fire zone for gangs because they know hardly anybody is packing heat and can return fire against them. Chicago is the poster child for what happens when you take away peoples rights to defend themselves. I personally wouldn't ever visit that armpit of a city or even enter that state, and feel sorry for everybody that does live there and can't escape. If the gangs tried that shit where I live they would look like Swiss cheese, as everybody here is packing, and we don't have problems like that!

 

You know, the obama puppet there is just parroting. I was always more than a little suspicious that the "radical uptick" in shooting there had most to do with the effort for gun control and martial law. Yes, I agree with Lafincoyote completely and left that whole area for a much less disgusting, base and stupid place. It's like living in a whole other world. Nice! (and it is the South West - punks shot daily here and people are like "ok" because no one wants them or their shit anyway.

if chicago has strict gun laws, then it's pointless is if the surroundings (america) don't. i don't think it's easy to see effect of strict gun laws, when previously there weren't any. everyone has a gun already...
