Anyone enjoy reading Daphne Du Maurier's thrillers from the 1930's? She was very popular in her day, and while I wouldn't call her writing perfect, there is a real darkness to her stories that I don't find in a lot of other authors. I read 'Rebecca' a few years ago which is considered to be her crowing glory, but am currently reading 'Jamaica Inn' and really enjoying that, too.
I read something called Echoes of the Macabre by her. It was too random and hard to understand. I heard she married a super handsome socially well bred husband.
