I see my mother about once or twice a week. She and I weren't close growing up. We've gotten closer in recent years, but she's a complete nutcase and always has been. I love her dearly, but it's really hard to deal with her.
Very rarely. Maybe once a month, for a minute or two. Unfortunately, the less we talk, the better off we are . I talk to my father often.
Since she moved away, I ring her at the least each week. (My sister lives near to her - so an eye is kept on her progress) Leaving it for (about) week gives her chance for her to tell me of all the escapades/adventures she's been up to, and I relate to her on what her Grand/Great Grand children have been up to
I talk to my mom every day - sometimes a few times a day - she's my everything. I'd be absolutely lost wihtout her. My brother only calls her once in a blue moon - typically when he needs something
Haven't talked to her for a decade. She does send me a Christmas & birthday card every year, but that's about it.
I call mine everyday after work on the way home. Sometimes it's just a "hello, just wanted to say hi" short conversation. She said it means a lot to her just to hear my voice....
I talk with my mom generally at least once a week. On average I go to my parents twice a month. I often do my laundry there, check on the dog (I consider him mine ) and enjoy my moms cooking :2thumbsup:
I called my mother a few days ago to talk. It was the first time I've initiated a conversation with her in over 3 years. I've been going through some tough issues lately and I kind of just wanted to air out some feelings. Her exact words: "Call someone who fucking cares." And then I heard laughter as she quickly hung up on me. Good times
