What really pisses me off about sexism and gender equality

A somewhat impressive post, you have employed some scientific method, and you are right, there is no difference between a male and female brain, some differences in size and stucture, which parts over time that have developed to get priority, but the undelying elements are the same, its all just mapping neurons, pathways that are learned not made, and the strength and speed of those signals.

And its not like there doesnt exist at least one female that thinks more like a guy than you do, is inherently more promiscious, that has a far higher libido

......and yet you are still at that place you expressed in you first post. Why do you always have to do the chasing, even with the girls you believe are below you ranking, that shit is just demeaning.

And notice how many females in particular will hear you talking like you did in your first post and automatically assume you are only talking about getting laid. When you are talking about every social situation. Death stares from the dumbass boyfriend that say keep the fuck away from my girlfiend, even when its a girl you wouldnt touch with a ten foot pole, that kind of shit is just downright offensive.

And members of both sexes crapping on about all the wonderful effective communication, trust and the deep connection they have with their partner, and yet at the same time psycho paranoid about any member of the opposite sex getting too close to that partner

No one said it all has to make any logical sense, its like many of them, both male and female dont even know themselves or how much they will change over time. Theres no differences in the brain, but differences in all those chemicals that get fired into the brain, and differences with the body of course.

As for the females and why now you have to chase all the time, as you get older you'll see all the differences. A lot of them your age arent ever going to get hot for guys your age, some of them only ever going to be interested in sex unless its getting pregnant or getting kids, many of them wont do anything no matter how horny they are becuase they are too scared to, or they do put money first every time, or the safety and security of a husband more important than sex, or some will just assume another girl is better at pushing the buttons.....and a lot just simply with no pulse, frigid anyway, relative to guys becuase testosterone works a lot better at drive than estrogen does

I'm a woman, I'm happy to be a woman and I have the upper hand in some situations (and always will) against my male counterparts. Likewise, I'm happy to concede victory to men when they carry out a task better suited for them.

I also think it's stupid to pretend stereotypes don't exist for good reason. To give an example, Justin Bieber recently came under fire for a lyric that went something like "ohh you know females [they gossip and they're jealous]". He was called sexist, etc. But the statement is true, most females are gossipy birds.

The feminism war made it seem wrong to be womanly and makes woman reject natural feminine tendencies. I just think thats wrong.

There have been a few studies of identical twins (separated at birth, never acquainted, never knowing their counterpart existed, and who grew up in COMPLETELY different socioeconomic environments) who exhibit the exact same tendencies and personality characteristics as the other. Tell me thats not biological.

Also, criminology has taught us that by no mistake there is a biological trend among most serial murderers. The commonalities are: male, raised by single mother, low IQ, and, absentee father. Researchers found the most violent of these men were children of men who also committed violent crimes (keep in mind the fathers were absent during their upbringing). This means that even despite lack of exposure to violence at home, they still possessed the same violent tendencies as their fathers. This is evidence is significant because it helps us see that personality development and choices are genetic derivatives of our DNA.

Genetics plays a huge role in personality, which can't be ignored, but neither can environment (of which cultural is a part of).

Society was wrong to box people into certain absolute terms of can and can't, that we can agree on.

And this talk about one gender being "smarter" than the other is bunk because intelligence is a polygenetic trait, AND is rooted in culture.

Ex: Reading is an artificial skill it does not come naturally.

The criminology points are in response to quoted text in my original post. He said biology has very little bearing on who he is as a person. My points give an example (like your reading example) as to why thats false. Biological factors have imminent ramifications on personality, for example pain tolerance. This is basic psychology, for someone who writes intelligently, I'm surprised you didn't grasp the relevance but perhaps your education doesn't involve much medical psychology.

I don't get why the genders have to pick sides either. We're all human.

I only joined the anti-misandrist groups as I say because I felt like there was a lot of sexism against men, mainly around a specific event in my life.

One of the reasons I didn't join anything similar to "masculinism" was to avoid that kind of side-taking. Anti-misandry is of course a very natural and non-confrontational attitude to make. Basically just saying "don't be prejudiced against us, and we're all good", which I think is very fair and reasonable.

Overall though it would be nice to just have gender equality. But I guess sometimes when someone of a particular gender feels particularly persecuted, they turn to people that feel similar to them such as those within their gender so they feel they have more power with which to fight back.

It does make sense, but it's a shame that people feel they have to resort to that, including myself.
