Im not sure where too ask this but I am putting together a 60s revolution playlist on spotify, and I am looking for some experimental 60s rock / psychedelic garage etc. Any suggestions would be lovely, I already have a good selection I think, if you want to check it out, just let me know

Link only gets me to Spotify front page so still none the wiser.

Not exactly sure what you're after with "...60s revolution...experimental 60s rock / psychedelic garage...". It's a big field.

What type of thing have you got on there already ?

Well your suggestion was a pretty good example, I listened to it and added some of their songs. I have a variety of songs, of all types from the sixties that I dig. I'm after anything experimental mainly right now, songs that maybe didn't get the recognition they deserved because of how far out the sound was maybe. And really if you feel i need certain songs in my collection, I plan to have all the must hears of the 60s.

That's a huge task to have "all" of it. Do you mean the whole 1960s or the second half, '65 onwards ? There's a big change halfway through.

For 'experimental' try The Soft Machine. They played with Pink Floyd in '66/'67 ?

The Monks, US servicemen stationed in Germany, first released an EP in 1966. Standout Tracks are I Hate You, Complication, Shut Up. Other tracks on it weren't too bad either. They went back a bit later and recorded a few others which aren't as good. Hard to imagine this racket is from 1966.
Along the same style you could try The Sonics from 1965. Try Tracks "The Witch," "Psycho," , and "Strychnine" .
While we're here hear the 13th Floor Elevators.

I have a few exceptions but for the most part '64 onwards, and I know it would be nearly impossible for EVERY song, so I put the best ones in my opinion from each band in there.

The Monks really surprised me, how haven't I heard of them until now? they are amazing. The Sonics blow my mind aswell... how does he manage to scream so much? What are some 13th Floor Elevator songs you recommend? I have " I don't ever want to come down", "You're gonna miss me", and "Reverberation (Doubt)".

A few others for starters by the Elevators would be Levitation, Postures (Leave Your Body Behind), May The Circle Remain Unbroken.

I'm fully ignorant about Spotify. don't even know if it works in Aussie so bear with my for my silly questions.
So you are streaming this thru PC speakers from the 'Net ?
You know they will all sound immeasurably better thru a proper stereo ?

Its all good man, Yeah Spotify is a music streaming service , and the location is probably why its not working for you. I'm listening to it through the stereo sound system I have connected to my computer. And I added all your suggestions, I feel so dumb, I love May the circle remain unbroken, but I didn't have it on my list, whats wrong with me!

Hahaha, I'm on a winning streak with the suggestions and I'm just guessing.
Good to hear it's coming out of your main system. Don't know what the input via the web would be like tho.
Nothing wrong with not knowing something.
