Does anyone remember a band called Frosty Moses? They were a rock band around in the 60's. Never signed a record deal in the end but they were fab.
Yes I was the bass player. Anybody interested in Frosty Moses can visit http://www.britishmusicarchive.com/F/301-frosty-moses
Wow - Frosty Moses. Only saw them once, at a free concert at the Arts Centre in Canon Hill Park...1968 or 69? But what a wild and exciting band. The singer was amazing. Thanks Mr Moses...I looked at your link..sad to see Phil passed away this year. But, looking at the photos there, I would swear that photos 2 and 3 are at the Canon Hill Arts Centre gig. Incredibly, I recognise the bloke in the glasses to the right of the cymbal on the RHS of the 3rd picture. I was a regular at Mothers but somehow missed out on seeing the band again. Recently, I've been involved on the Home of Metal exhibition and got given a recording of 'People Say' - looking forward to hearing it again, but the CD didn't play on my PC. Damn!
Sorry can't say I recognise the guy in glasses. Should be easy enough to convert the Frosty track so you can play it, it is scratched and played to death as it was an acetate, rough mix of a track from the album we were recording. I can only thank Alex Warton for it's survival. Someone has put it on You tube now, so you can hear it there.
