What does your username mean?

Dammit, I tried to pm you but you have no space.

It's figureoutable though. My username was... the last 5 letters (I have now) plus another name that starts with an 'h' added to the end. lol.

Ruby Soho is a name of a song by Rancid. One of my favorite bands for the past 20 years. I had to add a number and 6 is my favorite 1 digit number. I thought about going with St Mary which is another song by Rancid but given my feelings towards religion I didn't want to be mistaken for someone who cared about that kind of thing.

its just a name. i don't believe in names meaning anything. by that i mean i don't believe that they should. a name should be a unique thing that is and does nothing other then to identify the thing it is the name of.

now there is something of a history to it. the way it came to me, i believe it may have been my name in one or more of my previous lives.

 

The beauty of an internet forum is that all usernames are unique.

Back in the day it was a tradition to take the name of your crew as your last name. I started a band called Suicide Bridge and took that as my last name in keeping with that tradition.

The Suicide Bridge is in Pasadena, CA and became famous during the Great Depression for people jumping off and committing suicide. Some say if you on bridge contemplating suicide there are spirits of the dead tempting you to jump and end it all.
