Yeah if you're on the cold side of this storm you may be in for a real mess. Prolly gonna be a little freezing rain here and then plain old rain. Bummer.

Testing the wood furnace, initial low temp burn-in to get some of the paint fumes out of it. Not ready to heat the house with it yet but it's in the 50's outside...

it was pretty nice today though..i had some business to take of in town and it was chilly but not bad...just a constant light snow

 

54F.. walked to the store, was nice..

but walking under pigeon poop bridge while melting not so nice.. poop bridge has been poop since I was a child walking under that. main walkway in the town too, covered in poop.

Freezing rain here too since last night. Could have been worse but enough to make driving a huge pain in the ass this morning and all the schools had a late start.

 

'93 civic hatchback my last car was a '95 civic... i downgraded lol

methinks shes toast... don't know for sure, need to have it looked at...but im thinking it is... its just so bad.. i thought it was going to explode as i drove it home driving it home probably made it a lot worse too... but either that or pay for it being towed.. i dunno..

 

i'm tired early tonight....probably going bad freezing rain all weekend and I;m supposed to be going for wood tomorrow

 

As long as the body is decent it is worth something. A ricer would gladly take that off your hands. It is lightweight which is everything with these type of cars. Maybe you could do something like this yourself?:2thumbsup:

Yeah I am not a fan of that type of car either. They don't seem as popular as they once were but I still see them around sometimes.

 

first thing i'd do with it is jack it up from the rocker panel with a jack-all...then place safety stands and get under there to cut off the converter for recycling if some idiot didnt remove it already...then cut the straps and drop the tank to drain it of fuel...then toss the tank inside and get it back on the ground...and then back up the trailer and hook up the winch to yank the piece o' shit up ...pull the alum rims if it has any...throw some ratchet straps over the top..crank 'em down until it crunches and take that shit to the crusher.

 

Then use that recycling money to buy a new pair of shoes, because i'll be doing a lot of walking i guess...

Maybe i'll get some Supras, then i can pretend i'm in an actual Supra lol

 

OK, now that I changed my shorts....
leaving the mall earlier I'm sitting behind a car making a right, the light changes, they hit the gas and go, I follow suit, and next thing I know the rear drivers side of the car in front of me fly's open and all I see is something hard and covered with fabric fall out, bounce in front of my van and almost under me.
I freak and slam on the brakes, throw it in park and jump out expecting to find a dead baby in an infant carrier......
