That is the way Germans make cars. I would not say it way better or worse than the Japanese and British make cars, just different.
I have liked each car that I had. The main reason is that it helps me be independent and get around since I live in a small city with no public transportation. I think my current car is the best one I have had. It is a 2004 Toyota Camry. I got it used just before I had my left hip replaced (2009)and it is the perfect height for me to sit and swing my legs into.
I wasn't going to post about this but damn....I bought this for my wife and it is the coolest freaking car we have ever owned. I gave it to her for xmas. It's small but super fast. The handling is crazy. I am blown away by what this little thing can do. It has become my most favorite car ever in a matter of a couple of days. Like....I'm slightly jealous that she gets to drive the Mini and I still have to drive my Honda. Not even in the same league.
Yay! I finally get to see this car I've been hearing so much about for the past 3-4 days. I'm so glad your wife was excited!!! Best Christmas present ever! Is it green? It's hard to tell.
Yup. I guess they call it British racing green. It has a lot of factory add-ons but...oh boy...does it move. I was thinking about my cousin who...back in the day used to have a bad ass muscle car. I would blow him off the line with this car. It wouldn't even be close. I went for a drive earlier this evening. I was planning on getting on it. I got 3 blocks from my house and saw police lights behind me and thought "Damn! That was fast! I haven't even done anything yet." They were pulling someone else over so I got lucky. But then I got to play. :afro:
I love the color. Don't go getting a ticket in her car!!! So the 1 cop in your town was busy so you could go play? hahaha. I'm sure there are may be 3 cops in your town, right?
Thanks. I will only get to drive it on the same occasions I drove my Jeep. I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee HO for myself a few years ago and then it pretty much became her daily car. But I kept the Jeep so now it pretty much just sits in the driveway. But I don't care. It's still my Jeep.
Had two first generation Coronas. (Minus the fender mirrors.) One was reliable the other would never start in the cold until I replaced the coil with one from a Dodge. One would develop a crack in the exhaust pipe every year like clockwork. The frames rusted away on both cars at the firewall in a couple years. I'd jack up the front and the middle wouldn't move at all. Welded the frames back together and eventually sold them. Never bought a Toyota again.
