So why the fuck do i always get so cold when i take adderal, ritalin, basically any stimulants, especially IV cocaine. All I want to do is ball up in my bed and stay very still and warm. ugh. gross.

Basically is the vascoconstriction that most amp use has as a side effect causing me to become cold when i take them?

Stimulants raise your body temperature, which makes you feel colder in relation to the air surrounding your body.

Interesting. So from what i have briefly read online, feeling cold is a pretty common side effect for a lot of people when they take stimulants

lol I can understand that. When I didn't have access to any drugs for a while, I avoided HF for months.

Haha I actually enjoy the cold. I always wear a hoodie when it starts to hit me, makes me feel pretty comfortable.

I hear you, I fucking hate the cold. just layer up if its winter where you are. all you can do. well, besides not getting high. which is what I opt to do in the winter, stims are for partying and studying IMO, not getting for high regularly with. and in the winter, your asking for circulation problems if your getting high all the time.

One reason i stopped doing stims for the most part. Speed always made me shiver. Eventually people could tell i was strung cause id be the only cold one in the room, lol.
My suggestion take a small amount of downers to warm you up. Or shoot up near a fire. Not too close though.

Sometimes though when I do coke and it's cold outside I can go outside and not even feel it cuz i'm numb and shit but it is probably the vasoconstrictioin making you cold. When I did ethylphenidate my hands and feet got so cold and blue that they hurt so I took a hot bath and it felt all tingly exactly how it feels when your hands get super cold outside and you go run hot water over them.

    Very, very common bro.
Same happens to me when I take any stimulant, feels like im freezing!
But as others stated, it due to the fact that your body temp rises and that's why you feel so cold on the outside..
I myself HATE that..gets soo annoying.
It's not even cold out, when I'm around friends on stims, I'm like kinda shaking of how cold I get, my friends look at me like I'm some kind of weirdo! lol

Hmm. I've always felt hot. Like to the point where I take my coat off even when it's cold outside.

Yeah that's why we get so cold on the outside, cuz your body temperature is so high on the inside you feel the complete opposite on the outside, which means you're freezing.

I don't really recall how I felt while on psychostimulant amphetamines like adderall or dexedrine, seems it was nothing too drastic however I seem to recall doing Meth once and thinking to myself 'Oh this is why they call it ice.' With the psychedelic amphetamines I've done like MDMA and TMA-6, during the peak I tend to feel body temperature fluctations fairly similar to traditional psychedelics, if anything I'm like LetLovinTakeHold and tend to feel warmer than normal. When I comedown from MDMA, it often seems to make it's amphetamine presence known and I tend to feel cold, for my TMA-6 trip I ended up taking other drugs about halfway through the trip, so I didn't get a sense of the comedown for that.

Your body is in fight/flight mode. All the blood is rushing to the muscles so they can be used at a moment's notice. This leaves less blood at the surface of the skin causes it to become cool and pale.
