does the US not have anti hate laws? I support free speech unless it is hate that could motivate someone to kill or hurt based on their sexuality, religion, ethnicity. You can say what you want, I could not care, but start teaching hate, and i want it shut down......
I don't understand how people can hate others so strongly, especially for factors one cannot control. Race, gender, shoe size, sexuality, kind of veggies preferred on tuesdays. Because it's really equally ridiculous. Hate the individual if you must but don't hate a whole group of people because they have one lousy difference with your idea of perfection. We all originate from Eastern Africa anyway.
Actually I don't think there are laws against any of that... But I do agree with you, they shouldn't be allowed to preach hate.
ya know, as hippies, we have to be all for free speech... but then again we have to go for what we know as right in our own hearts and minds and follow that. this has always been a very tough subject for me, and for one (as a so-called hippie) i DON'T like the word or people who like to associate themselves with it (on all sides)... it's just what is right in my own mind, and i'm pretty sure what i think as being right should be the right thing. i think we all know what it is but people are scared of saying somethings because they are afraid they will be called "censors" or whatever... i'm not afraid, i stand up for what i believe in.

Though the Nazi’s and the KKK are still around their influence is only marginal. The scary thing is that it would only take one strong leader to bring these frightening groups back to power. There will always be ignorant and hatefulm people as long as we are human. Seems to be part of the deal. I think, as repulsive and reptilian as these "Nazis" are, as damaging and hurtful as their ignorant racist dribble and vile loathesome evil hatred is...I think we pose more risk if we silence them. They are the vast minority, and their stupid hate speech reveals its own ignorance to anyone who is sane. If we silence them, we open the doors to silencing our message. We can outshine them, as long as they are only talking shit, and not doing shit. In the long run, as a Buddhist, I am way more concerned about the nazi that may live inside my own heart, than I am about a handfull of boneheads who have created a lame website. Most people that support Nazi ideas and are rascist in that way.. are prety harmless . Its the ones that go around using violence and violating other peoples free speach ...
