Well if there's a facebook group... :p I'm sorry, just saying, there were always voices calling for legalization in Europe.

Many of the huge revolution has started or been widely spread via social tools such as facebook. The massive change in knowledge around the world is a result of internet. I hate facebook, but the usage of it is wide. The supporters of a cannabis legalisation is as huge as it was during the 70's and we now have tools for the legalisation they didn't have back then. We have information, studies, scientific proof of it's usage. It is now time for the revolution to start, not only in America but all around the world!

Being legal some places in the USA is important. They pressure the rest of the world to follow their drug policy and the DEA oversteps it's boundaries and is often involved in international business even though they are an American lawn enforcement agency. Legalaztion in Europe is coming.

    yeah i think so too..
its already decriminalized in some countries.
Denmark has an open air drug market.

    Spain, Portugal are decriminalizing.
    Switzerland is decriminalizing i think.
Czech republic is decriminalizing if I know correctly..

good times are coming... but I wonder.. any ppl who got arrested for smoking weed got released in states where its legal now?

In ten years it's going to be legal in most first-world countries, I reckon.

I don't believe so. They still broke the law, even though the law has changed.

I think all non violent, marijuana offenders should be released though.

As of now their charges still apply. The law was what it was when they broke it.

It's getting legal or decriminalized everywhere. It's just to push harder so freedom can be all around!

It's on debate and news much right now. But politicians are higly conservative. However, two of the major youth parties supports legalisation and also the left wing want to decriminalize all drugs. Also the majority of the population supports some kind of legalization. But Sweden will always be the last to change things...

Thanks for the info :) So what happens now over there if you get spotted with a joint in public or if they find a gram of weed on you somehow?

The penalty is equal if I get busted with a joint, 1 gram or if I am in a room where people smoke and it's raided and I show traces of thc in my blood/urine. I will get a fine based on how much I earn, lowest is 2000SEK (50SEK x 30 Days + 500SEK to the Crime Victim Fund wich a total amount of about $300). The fine raises and at above 60 grams I can get jailtime. I was busted with 3 grams and go a fine fo 2500SEK ($380)
