I don't like the show--but I'm happy you're getting some bit parts. Hang in. Only one direction to go now--better parts. I like Sunny in -etc.
WOW Rainy!! That is SOOOOO COOL! Ive always wanted to be an extra. I guess what youre doing is a step above an extra? Would you move up to be a stand in or are you past that too? I worked with a few people who were extras in movies. They loved it. $100 for the day and all you can eat delicious catering. so youre paid hourly, is it decent? could you pull some strings and help me get in as an extra?! Ive always wanted to be someone getting shot.
Cool. My wife will often organize group things to go and be paid audience members. I have done it a few times. My daughters have also done the extra thing as well. One of my them seems to always end up with close-up shot. The most recent on camera was America's Funniest Home Videos that aired on November 10th. (can't find a free clip to link ) Two of my girls are in a shot full face with Tom Bergeron in between them talking to the camera. You can almost see my ugly mug way in the back on some shots, but wisely they never focused on me. it is sort-of fun, and the kids always have a good time, but for an old fart like me, the actual show tapings are fucking tedious, laughing at the same lame jokes 12 times in a row just so they can get the "perfect" audience response. ps. for any of you in So. Cal that work with any type of groups; school, sports, boy/girl scouts, etc it is an awesome way to raise funds, a lot better than a lame bake sale . The company we use is called On Camera Audiences. Last taping was some Disney show, I think 12 people in our group=$500. And they ABSOLUTELY LOVE groups of kids and give first priority to groups.
Haha, I have to admit I almost shit a brick when you posted the clip and pictures from "It's Always Sunny." Haha, that is one of my FAVORITE episodes and it's so cool you got to be in it.
Yeah, this is beyond just being an extra. If you're the main focus of the camera, or you're right up there with the actors, and especially if you are doing something like dancing, looking back and forth, etc., that's acting. I'm guessing they wouldn't give walk-on/ newbie extras parts like that except on rare occasions.
Its funny i saw that episode about the atm of course with only seeing you for a second and only seeing your picture once i never would have made the connection till you mentioned it.
British comedy is definately the finest in the world, it makes me actually laugh sometimes while most American and Dutch 'comedies' usually can't even get a faint smile from me.
Great! You look adorable and young and hip....LOL How fun is that for you! How old is your child? Are they like you?
