I set up my machine to CPU mine Quark and use the GPU to mine Dogecoin. I can mine Doge and Quark at the same time at full power since they use separate resources. Anybody wanna help me build a botnet?

Could these bit coins afford me a cockroach exterminator? If so they might be worth investing in.

Dogecoin is fun to daytrade with.. I went from buying .015 btc worth to having .022btc. I made about 7 bucks. I see potential for me to have made more, but it doesnt work out like that. and if I just use 10x the amount of money I would make 10x more.

I bought a few 1000 Dogecoin just for the fun of it. I don't think the price will rise a lot though since there are loads of them. Daytrading is fun though, one time I was up about 10 BTC, but then ofcourse all altcoins dropped in price and now I just have to wait it out and sit back until they are on the rise again.

i just started cloud mining. i bought about 2.8 gHash for 0.106 BTC. in about a day it has mined .000439 BTC of profit (after i pay a small fee for electricity use). so it'll take about 2 or 3 days to make .001 BTC, which is their fee when you cash out to your BTC wallet. but i don't plan on doing that for awhile.

it also mines three other alt. coins.

and the best part is, you can sell your gHash for BTC at any time. the price varies. so i bought mine at .037745 btc per gHash. but this month it has been as high as .044 btc or so.
you can trade btc for gHash and make btc that way, in addition to mining.

PM me if you'd like my referral link. i'd really appreciate it if you signed up using my referral (if you do decide to give it a try - you only need about .04 btc to buy one gHash)

but i don't want to spam, so PM me if you're interested in the link.

It was a guy who ran a bitcoin exchange. He wasn't a creator or anything just an entrepreneur.

The reason bitcoin prices go up and down is because its a currency. Just as the american dollar goes up and down to the rest of the world but not really to americans since we dont use other currency.

Bitcoins, for me anyway, are used when purchasing something that you would like to remain anonymous. Such as buying drugs online so if questioned there is no proof if it was you from Jimmy John Jameson from down the road.

The most popular use of bitcoins is for blackmarket websites and this also causes the fluctuations in price you see from these sites closing down or starting back up etc.

Isnt the current bitcoin rate like 800$ a coin? they used to be 20$!?

damn i wish i spend like 2 grand back then ide have a 80 grand right now. But than again you never know when it might crash and you could lose all your money.

yeah it's a little under $800 per bitcoin right now.

i got all 1.106 of my bitcoin from free sites, so that's like 800 free dollars if i ever actually cash out!

nobody in interested in cloud mining huh?

my 2.8 GHS has now mined over 0.001 BTC in about 2 days! the rest is pure profit now.
the one problem though is that the price of GHS is still dropping. i bought mine at .037745 btc per GHS, now it's down to .033925. i'd like it to go to .04 or so, so i can sell my GHS and make btc that way...

Could bitcoins still be considered assets by the IRS if they ever found out you had them, or no?

I think that it would be pretty hard for them to prove ownership of a bitcoin wallet, wouldn't it?

If you do business using bitcoins, would you have to include that as revenue on ur taxes? But ya it would be hard if not impossible for them to know you own a particular wallet. It would probably take some pretty significant business also for them to start scrutinizing you.

isn't your btc address associated with an email address? doesn't seem like it'd be that hard for them to connect the two

A bit coin wallet may or may not be associated with an email address. Software wallets kept on a PC do not require an email address to exist. Exchanges and such require an email address tho.
