Oh yeah, and I kept making jokes about how we were supposed to be winning money yet they kept taking our money!!! Yeah, there was a gift shop to buy price is right shirts, buttons, what have you. I got a button for $2. Not too bad. I got thirsty. $3 bucks for a diet dr pepper. Got thirsty again, another $3. My brother got hungry. $6 for a breakfast burrito. $3 for his soda. When they took our photo, I thought they were giving copies for free, nope, $20! We got back to the car, stuck our parking ticket in the machine, $24 for parking!
parking is what screwed up things for me the second time I went too..I was trying to park in the neighborhoods around there and there were no spots..I know I was supposed to park in the garage but I dont wanna pay that cash
It's seriously just like a theme park. And by the end of the day, overly exhausted, I felt like I had been walking around disneyland all day. They should really try to improve some things.
what's the point of improving things if they can keep getting people to come wait in line though? lol
I'm honestly puzzled as to why I got paid to be in the audience for price is right before. I don't think they commonly seek paid audience for this show since they can fill up seats with people willing to be there for free. There were only about 5 of us and we didn't have to wait the 6 hours. We were sat in the audience just right before it taped. I didn't have to fill out any of the legal forms possible contestants have to, the casting agency already had my information. I thought the prizes get paid for by the companies of the prizes in exchange for advertisement on the show..
that'd be interesting and I'm all for girl power but I don't think a female host would work.. would the people showcasing prizes then be male models? 0.o yes! dry humor jokes which I looooovee... and he was dancing and singing to cheesy songs
You might want to check this out https://www.google.com/#q=how+to+get+on+the+price+is+right most of it is obvious though. Just figure out what they want and then try to be that. I figure that you only get one chance to play on the show, so if you get on, you want to make it count. Figure out the price of stuff so you can rake in the cash. There's probably better things for you to do with your time though. If you're really keen on this, research it and figure out what your odds are of getting on.
Sweeeet my uncle was an audience of that show back in the 90's. They always have VERY enthusiastic people on the show who are likely to do silly / funny things which just makes the show more interesting for the viewer at home. So maybe act crazy and you will get on
