I have a sweet potato guy near my house. He cooks them in tinfoil over an old oil barrel. You can them and snack on them for about 15 cents.

went to buy a lottery ticket and a can of beer today and only had a debit card. last time i got a ticket they added it all together not separately so i thought that this time they could do the same thing. but the woman said i cant use a debit card to get a lottery ticket. meanwhile the ticket is printed out and sitting on the counter. i said so then i guess you will have to wait till the next time i come in because i have no cash on me. (there was an atm but i wasnt paying a $3 fee to get my money when my bank was down the road) so she says she can do a cash back...(she could of just did that in the first place because she still rang up the same price and kept the lottery money in the drawer) then she says you know thats the law. i said i looked around for a sign that said no debit cards allowed for lottery tickets. she said well its state law. i told her i didnt have time to read the entire state law book. as i walked out i was thinking of all the other signs posted like no selling tobacco to anyone under 18 or no selling alcohol to anyone under 21 and a few other such signs. those are all laws too but they still took the time to put up a sign for them.

Another good way to cook em, is the cot the into big fingers, rub oil into them, then sprinkle them with a mixture of ground sea salt, paprika, and chilli flakes, great with a garlic dip, and a glass of red. :D

lil bit but not really. the store gets charged for each credit card purchase so being that the store isnt running the lottery they would pass on the charge to the state. the state dosnt want to pay extra to sell a ticket so they dont allow that charge. i assume the same goes for debit card purchases although they shouldnt because like i said they were fine doing a cashback and i know i dont get charged for a cashback and if the store gets charged for giving cash why the hell would they do it when they arent selling anything. so yeah that part confuses me but i understand why.

Stores pay for credit cards by percentage, but they pay a fixed fee for debit card purchases.

it would definately be a solution. unfortunately i have to do my grocery shopping for next week so i will have to find a space in there somewhere to sober up enough to drive...then its back to drinking and organizing.

The BBC's colour commentary on Olympic hockey is just painful.

Take my word for it. Mispronounced names, bad analysis and too many explanations. On the other hand, their live feed isn't completely overwhelmed with traffic like the Canadian one is.

not sure, i had a bit to drink but i remember complaining about whoever made the "BUSINESS HOURS" aka "Banking hours" so my guess is that person who is pretty much definitely already dead a long time ago is the one who should kill himself.

I didn't think that I drank that much last night, but there are 9 empties from the case of beer I bought yesterday, and I was the only one drinking beer. A couple of rye and cokes as well... not sure how I'm not hungover this morning, but I'll take it.

I think this is the first time that my wife has been stoned when I haven't been. Also probably the first time she's been high in the morning lol.

After 5 days Erin finally hopped up onto her new branch by the window. I knew it was going to be a hit... now she's always gonna be there.
