So far (for lunch, no breakfast):

    Small container Greek yogurt
    half container strawberries
1/2 avocado spread on flax toast
    1/2 red bell pepper
1/2 vegan apple cranberry bran muffin :)
Some jellybeans! Maybe 5? I have a special weakness for Jelly Belly.

Those are the ones I go for. Unfortunately I almost never seem to find ripe bananas anywhere here. So I wait for them to ripen...

Jelly beans? ha ha, uhh-oh...you are vegan right?
I see they (jelly belly) do not contain gelatin, but they do have a beeswax based coating to make them shiny. Can I assume that does not violate the vegan dictum?

Seeing that she said she had some yogurt, I'm assuming she's a vegetarian. :)

To celebrate the end of Black History Month last night I ate all kinds of strange "Black" foodstuffs.

I ate injera with some spicy beef steak slices, jerk chicken, joumou, fried plantains, spicy grilled tilapia, beignet balls, Tunisian couscous, collard greens with new potatoes, spicy green lentils, and salted fish (cod likely) in a red sauce.

This morning I ate cinnamon-sugar toast.

There is this jerk named Durianrider who promotes eating 30 bananas a day. That is a lot of sugar.

Unlike the majority of the population (not talking about you), my sugar comes from fruit instead of junk sweets. Fructose, yum. Which, in my opinion, makes it healthy
Anyway, we have completely opposite opinions of what is healthy.

I wasn't referring to you in my post, nor was I critiquing your diet. My response was to Gongshaman stating that 7 bananas is a lot, when, compared to people on a so-called "fruitarian" diet, it really isn't that large a number.

But regarding fructose, sugar is sugar, regardless of where it comes from (be it a natural source like fruit or a processed form like HFCS), and fructose is actually the worst of all the sugars. Obviously fruit is healthy and has lots of vitamins and antioxidants, but some fruits should be consumed in moderation because of their fructose content, especially for people looking to lose weight, or those with blood sugar or insulin resistance issues. I don't believe that consuming endless quantities of fruit is healthy just because it's fruit. But that's a whole other thread.

Oh no, I know you weren't referring to me, don't worry :).

Fructose doesn't cause insulin spikes actually. And all the long term frutarians are slim, fruit does not make you fat.
But as I said, I know we have different opinions, so let's agree to disagree and leave it at that.

I never claimed that fruit makes you fat. However, the amount of fruit one consumes should depend largely on the person's current weight and activity level. People who are already of normal weight and not looking to lose fat will probably not be affected by eating fruit. However, if someone is overweight and looking to lose weight, I would strongly encourage them to limit their fruit intake and instead eat more non-starchy vegetables. If they do eat fruit, the low sugar fruits are preferable to high sugar fruits like apples and bananas.
