Pretty much the reason the wall st. Occupiers never had a chance. You have to fight for something obtainable. And corporate greed is not something that can be stopped by protests. Well not unless those protests are in the hundreds of millions at least. Hell its not even specific enough to address any real issues.

On cops, I don't know what it is, but I seem to have some sort of ESP that detects them. Something about em just screams "copper", wherever they are, whatever they are wearing. However, there's only one possible use for this "gift".. :-/ I get the same with certain other occupations.
I live in a very very very highly patrolled neighborhood. Very? Uh huh. Prison town, heh. But it's the nicest prison .. er, neighborhood .. anyone could ever want! Seriously though, they're good here. I spotted one guy who embodies violence but many of the others actually do embody peace. I love a just officer but I loathe a corrupt cop.
I am being bombastic. To be clear, I don't like or condone violence. I certainly don't think anyone would think what I'm saying is reasonable. The purpose of being bombastic is more than just trolling. It's to push the boundary of what's acceptable to say. That's the intended effect at least. I have my own thoughts. But my own thoughts aren't necessarily the best one. Without sarcasm/malice I challenge you to name a revolution in history with a defined plan of 'after the revolution'. Serious discussions of such can't happen with an existing power structure.
I'll wait then :daisy: Well, I don't mean a full proof planning to the end goal. I mean a concrete idea of what this revolution is about and what exactly is the thing that is supposed to change. I'm sure you know what kind of revolution talk I was speaking of. It's those were they can't answer what they would change and roughly how to go at it
In regards to the earlier debate about driving under the influence of pot.... When I was 16-20 that's what we did. Drove around smoking blunts and bowls and bongs and shit. Smoked on the way to get weed, and on the way to the woods where we would hike and smoke more. I was a delivery dricer at that time, and I was able to drive and maintain a calm much better when stoned. I personally am not affected drastically by drugs though, I guess, I can maintain my personality and calm when I'm stoned. And I seriously was stoned24/7 when I delivered pizza. The worst that ever happened was me fucking up pizzas when I had to make them. In situations when I got pulled over, I dealt with it accordingly. I believe cops do some Fucked up shit and it outshines the people who become cops for good reasona.
When I was in Cambodia my business parter was a cop. He was what you call a "ghost worker", he would pay half his salary to his commissioner, and never show up to work. He'd get all half his check and the authority of a cop, and the commissioner would get the money. It was win win, except for the Cambodian tax payer.
It is a rare person who won't take advantage of any sort of power, but who are you gonna call if faced with something you need help with....and I sure hope none of us ever have to call for help.....
If the perp is gone by the time the cops arrive, u are now the suspect...it's a waste of time for them to show up and not at least get to arrest someone. But then again, wasting time is what cops,do best I have little respect for the jakes, most of them are extremely corrupt
Maybe you shouldn't judge everything based on your limited experience? That has not been my experience at all.
Same here, but just because some people can pull it off and we never had an accident doesn't mean that with retrospect I say it was fun but irresponsible. One delayed reaction because a passenger distracts you and you might hit another car that just happens to be a bit too far to the middle of the road... oh yeah it wouldn't be totally your fault then of course :sifone: (who cares)
I assume you mean danger. I have a gun which doesn't take 30 minutes to arrive. If it's help with something else like plumbing or ghosts, I would call a plumber or the ghost busters.
