What makes Hipforums different/better/worse than other forums/social media?

the variety is great. I agree with Rainy, we have a witty day here and there
having a chat room is a nice option too. the purple is pretty nice.

for the most part we can be open about everything. this doesn't mean you're not going to be attacked,
but there's bound to be someone on your side,
and even when things go downhill, we all tend to get over things in a few days.

 

Talking To A Diverse Cross Section Of Peeps I Would Most

Likely Never Meet In Real Life...

I Love Reading And Responding To Other Peoples Joys, Heartbreaks,

Love Affairs, Relationship Breakups, Sex Lives, Political Views,

Neighbourhood Disputes, etc etc etc...

Hip Forums Is In My Opinion A Minature Cross Section Of The World Today....

And I Love This Place As Much, If Not More Than The Day I Joined...:2thumbsup:

Honestly, I get annoyed half the time I come here. Something about this place just rubs me the wrong way. Yet for some strange reason I still come here.

For one, I don't like hippies, and I find people who are overly obsessed with sex and drugs to be obnoxious as well. I disagree with most people's politics here, but I like to argue sometimes, too.

 

Just Do What I Do When Hf's Grates On Me, Take A Break for A Few

Days, Then Come Back With A Clear Head And An Open Mind...

Most of the regulars (and some newbies every now and then). This site would lose a big part of why it is so fun if some of the more interesting people would leave. Pressed rat is a good example. It will all go downhill surely when he chooses to get a life :biggrin:

 

This place is simply a lot more open, about everything. Sometimes that's a good thing and sometimes its bad, but here we all are.

 

So you are conflicted and like to air that conflict out. The strange reason you come is people engage with you even though you might find them as some stereotypical image you think would be untouchable in person. Not to say that is a bad thing just helping you get familiar with your own motives as you seemed at a loss.

I have nothing to compare with, I don't visit other sites of this kind and I don't even own a phone. I'm here for the sake of joy and nobody has seen fit to stop me.

 

The amount of hot chicks. I also visit other fora, like the ReptilesForums, the ClassicComputerGamingForums and the NeckBeards4LifeForums, but there are not really many hot chicks there.

 

I know what you mean, there are almost as annoying and obnoxious as those
nut-bags who are always going on about conspiracy theories and the NWO bullshit.
