i'm manifold . i've spent nights in ditches with junkies and shaken hands with foreign officials during meetings. been living in navy barracks and hippie communes, i've been a preacher and then a political activist, which involves the same abilities for same purposes...

I'm extrememly versatile, but also very unstable. I am moody and I can be rather antisocial and awkward at times. I can choose how I want to be when I'm in a good mindset, but when I'm in a bad one, I'm at the whim of my hormones.

I have really terrible social anxiety so that is my biggest obstacle in being versatile. I read people's mannerisms and actions very closely to see if they are honest people. If I get any sign of dishonesty or narcissism, I have a really hard time interacting with them because I already know I cannot trust them. "So why do I need to interact with them?" is usually what happens in my brain.

I understand situations where I am forced to and have taught myself how to act appropriately and professionally and do so on a daily basis, but this is what goes on in my head EVERY TIME I meet someone new or interact with strangers.

It sounds pretty negative, but it's just kind of how my mind reacts socially.

I work at a place that is practically demonized by many (McD's)...yet, have to be able to talk to the "uppity" and the lowest class you can imagine AT work.

Monday I will attend the funeral of my cousin who was a member of the wealthiest families in this county but I know better than to mention a word of this to my co-workers. (I still want to be accepted at work.)

So, yeah, I can and do travel both (or all?) sides of the versatile tracks. :)
