IF you don't work for the corporation the corporation dies. If this is how their going to make products any innocent person with a wife and kids deserves to die.
Steve Jobs is the lowest paid CEO in history. Of course, he's paid in stock benefits but makes about $1.00 a year I believe, total liquid assets... I remember reading about it.

IMO, they're not worth the money anyway. My little mp3 player my fiance got me last year for my bday works just wonderfully, was reasonably priced, and takes one AAA battery. I just don't see why people pay out the ass for the ipod, then have to pay out the ass again (to me anyway, I'm a cheapskate), for battery replacement. Even if you can get the battery for 40 bucks and install it yourself, that's still WAY to freakin much for a battery for an mp3 player. Ridiculous.
ipods are a peice of crap. seiouisly. i got a rio karma 20 gb for xmas from "santa" and i love it, and its not a peice of crap way to make money like the ipod.
I have an ipod mini and its pretty nifty. I know a couple of people who have normal ipods and theirs are so damn clunky. I dont need more than 4G anyway. ipods are great if its not you thats paying.
Well, well... Curiously enough, one of my friends has a mini, and lo-and-behold, the battery won't last more than an hour and a half. As to why anyone would shell out for a music playback device than not only doesn't record, but mangles the music through a digital comb filter is beyond me. I mean seriously, has anyone listened to the way hi-hats sound on that thing? If I want to listen to white noise, I'll go to the beach
The reason I got the 40GB for xmas is so I can transfer my cds and mp3s onto it...and then sell my cds. That wasy I won't have so much buildup of unneccesary crap in my room! I loooooove my space, and if the IPod is my ticket to getting back a chunk of my room, than so be it.
