The coffee shop that is about a 2 minute walk from here is hiring, I think I'll drop off a resume tomorrow. It's a pretty shitty coffee shop, but I'd probably get free coffee, so that's a bonus.

 

oh, we saw our first honeybee of the season today. it was giving some dandelions a work-over, there isnt a lot else yet. the henbit and the storkbill filaree are both coming back nicely (pretty weedy groundcovers, but they survive, and i can eat them if i want, so they get to grow at will) a couple of dandelions have already bloomed, and the apple tree doesnt want to contain itself. its supposed to snow thursday. if it blooms tomorrow i will go out there with a paintbrush and attempt to fertilize the blossoms. if it waits until friday i shouldnt have to. but i really Really want apples this year.

making pasta for dinner, with a big salad. might go grab some dandelion greens to add to it. i also built a small raised bed, and transplanted some of my yarrow. i seem to be starting at one end of the yard and working my way across. sloooowly, lol.
