In other words; do you do whatever the fuck you want or do you crawl for your significant other because you are so glad someone wants to be with you?

I used to do whatever they want. But I quickly learned if I don't just do my own thing I'll be miserable. My man can accept that or not. If not that's his loss. I'd rather be by myself than get cut down for having my own life.

I would say both, I don't do anything they'd tell me. But at the same time I wouldn't boss them around.

I'm more dominant. Do what I say or I'm out.

I am submissive. I am a strong free spirited person but I buckle to my knees for the girl I adore.

I do what I want. I am not really dominant or submissive, I just have to be with someone who will let me be me and who is confident enough to do the same.

As far as the relationship in a whole I am dominant when I know I should be. Other then that we are really just equals when there are certain decisions, he let's me decide lots because he considers himself the muscle and me the brains. He does like some of the shit to slide off my shoulders because he knows I got big shoulders and can make certain things happen he has never dealt with. He is the strong one in our relationship for sure and he is all about fixing things, making things look new, let him hang out in the garage for his day and he's a happy man. When he comes in dirty he goes for a bath and then I might be the submissive one, hahahaha.

As far as being glad someone wants to be with me,,, na, glad I found someone I can care about but I have never had a problem finding a good caring man. I have only ever been alone when I chose to be alone and it felt damn good when I wanted it that way. Usually it was just to date casually for a while and regroup myself.

More dominant I guess... because I definitely do what I want to do...although I don't really try to make them do anything.

I often end up being submissive relationship-wise, but I'm really dominant sexually.

I will end up cooking and paying for stuff and pouring out a lot of my energy in a kind of submissive sort of way in the relationship, but I get more turned on by sub girls and chicks who are into being tied up or prone or something.

I think I could go both ways though. Like I have had some relationships where it was the opposite; like I would be dominant in the relationship but be with a girl who likes to tease and dominate in bed. I think it is more natural for me the other way around though.

I had dated one girl who was submissive socially and sexually though, and I found that it got to be kind of boring... Maybe there needs to be some sort of a balance between these two aspects of the sub/dom relationship?

Depends on the guy, in the past I have been both dominant and submissive. The more in love I am with someone the more submissive I am, I find.

too paranoid to sub, to lazy to dom, and too interested in other things to be a very useful partner anyway. i love affection, but i'm far past the age for any of that to be very important to me.

you might wonder why i'm here, since i'm not interested in mind altering chemistry either. but if you've seen me rant here and elsewhere you know what i AM interested in is the kind of world we all have to live in, and how all of us, whether we intend to or not, participate in making it the way it is.

dom and sub are good for sex, or at least for stories about it, but they tend to something of a negative value anywhere else in real life.

Generally we both do our own thing, but we usually tend to want the same things. I tend to handle the finances, even though she is the one earning money right now. It isn't a control thing, I just have a better head for it and she doesn't really like doing it.

I neither abuse my partners nor accept abuse

in relationships I prefer to talk things out but I do tend to be the one somewhat more in charge, which is not "doing whatever the fuck I want" but taking more of a leadership role. The odd thing here is in dating and starting relationships every womon I have gotten with they are the one who initiated.

I would love to let my man be in charge of the finances, seems I end up with guys who like their woman to do it usually. My hubby who passed on loved to do our finances, now it's me because I am running things on my own and it kinda sucks but I know what I am doing, just don't care for it much.
I am the kind who likes to hold a bank card and he tells me when money fell into the hole that we can use, haha.
BF now will run his business and I will run mine once he moves in because it would just get confusing for one to do both since they are totally different fields of work,,, and I Won't do his too. Its gonna be a busy place soon and I kinda hope it all goes smoothly, I might start sending my stuff to a book keeper, just been too cheap to do it before.
He is kinda shitty at doing his and I think he needs a book keeper too, I saw his storage system of receipts and stuff, "it's a guy thing" he says. Takes him a week to get his taxes stuff together but he does it somehow.

I tend to be fair to-middling on the submissive side, but when this doesn't work out and I feel like I'm being shat upon,my dominant side can break out. That said I like to think I have something called "character" which I feel tends to override these two dichotomies.~I flit between dominance and submission.
