Or if you're like me, you celebrate it the entire week before and the entire week after.

 

Once you pick a makeup style do you have to stay with that as it becomes part of your persona, or can you change it up each time?

I really like the Cleopatra styles.

 

You can do either. I line variety too much to stay with the same theme every time though! I agree about the Cleopatra styles.

Absolutely. There's a lot of girls that don't do it though. There's only 3 or 4 of us that do on our team.

 

Are those tights or pants? How breathable are they?
I've been considering wearing more skirts and short shorts this summer but I wasn't sure how comfortable/breathable leggings would be. If you're wearing them for something as heat generating and thigh rubbing as derby, they gotta be decent.

 

They're lycra type leggings. They're very breathable. I prefer to skate with just shorts and bare legs, but rink rash is a bitch.

But what if you did the Bronson mask to match your jersey color?

Dress up as a nice girl fairy princess. It would look humorous for someone like that to be blocking competitors and whacking them over the railing like they did in the old school days.

The first one is my favorite so far too. I might go a practice round and make sure I can pull it off.
