Yeah, no need to be ashamed of your body. I'd say post your nipples here. You know, to scare Americans.
But that's the thing. Everyone has them. It's nothing to be ashamed of. In a sexual sense I can understand but nipples aren't automatically sexualized or the shouldn't be I think. At a young age you already are offended by them.
Nipples scare me. Nipples terrify me. They terrify me so much that when a woman shows her breasts, I go on defense mode and end up biting, chewing and nibbling at them until they surrender so I can suck out all of their life juices.... (only in threatening circumstances with women 18+ years of age, of course!)
Seriously though....are Americans really scared of nipples? Take mardi gras in New Orleans, I've seen more images of naked breasts there thanyou would ever get to see here in the UK. Here we have more topless sunbathing (specially in mainland Europe) but I think that in some parts of the US there is a more liberal attitude now than there was years ago.
It is jealousy or wanting to keep private for oneself. A possessive way not wanting to share mom. The american sentiment is for private enterprise.
And of course many of those who believe in a god, somehow imagine that he/she/it made our bodies with very bad places that should be hidden and not spoken of. Dirty trick, that.
there's certain groups of americans that are idiots about that sort of thing. but this is more about that thing where non-americans assume that american government/media = americans.
