They keep down the gophers & rattlers and they keep my feet warm at night. :2thumbsup:

 

They help me decide when I've read enough by jumping on whatever I'm reading or whatever crossword I'm working ...

They get Up In My Face when they are ready for me to go to bed...

They light up my life and help keep my heart happy...

Because. Cats are care free and happy and playful. Without reason. I need a reason to be those things.

This is hilarious....I laughed so much. I feel like that kitty underneath the basket.....running and then hiding....as if that cat is really hiding....LOL

 

Oscar is the only cat here hanging out with me right now. He is an orange tabby manx with a stub tail. He is overweight and had diabetes and was on insulin for quite a few months, but after he got stabalized, they took him off the insulin..so he needs periodic check ups to see if his blood counts are still ok. He is a teddy bear cat....sweetheart.....hangs out with pugs and thinks he is one of them..... He is a love love cat......
All 5 cats here are cute and sweet and all different.....Spanky is the social butterfly...hangs out on the neighbor's porch alot.....Minxy is a little acrobat know it all.....feline beauty...Mewey is old now.....she is 15 and is so skinny these days, even skinnier than Minxy......Finnegan is the tiger grumpy, but he reads my mind.

They are wonderful creatures.I have always loved cats and have undertstood them...They emotionally come to the rescue......They are not always happy....except for maybe Spanky....they can sometimes absorb a mood I have, too.....like Oscar does sometimes....

Sometimes Ember's tail will be thumping on the floor and she will attack it as if it is not any part of her.

In your shoe first thing in the morning... That's always entertaining.

 

I think it's super cut when they get scared of random things.
