I took the time to appreciate that day this year. Should def make a party of it next year. If they have Valentines, mothers, fathers, Halloween, and a day for Christmas inc many other national/local days I think its groovy that a day for international happiness was arranged. Eventhough it seems pointless to have a day for actions that should be important to us everyday (e.g. doing something to make you mum feel special), I just adore how specific day celebrations tend to bring people together and create a sense of community closeness.<--- Hopefully im not causing readers to feel emotionally sick with mushiness. Also feel like I waffled my response hopefully your not too confused. :mickey: As a final note; Fairlight I love your sig picture. Is it a picture of a famous classical period actress? Also I hope you have had better days since *hugs.*
We should try to make everyday a happy day.. It is not always possible but the more good we try to put in the world the better off we will all be. We can still be aware of all the issues in the world and try to make a positive change on an individual basis first. If all people did this our society would be way better off. It is easy to get overwhelmed with all of the world's issues but we must make a change in our individual lives in a way we think will impact others and our environment in a positive way. I personally believe we can change the world like this. If we believe that our negativity will overcome us as a species we are giving power to that. We have negative aspects to us as a species but we also have positive ones. We must believe we can be positive and overcome with our positivity. Please spread good vibes, thoughts and actions as much as you can. Even if you have to force it!! We are not going to be happy 100% of the time but we must not take our beautiful gift of life for granted!
